Goðafoss Waterfall & Turf House tour är den perfekta introduktionsturen till Nordisland. Vi startar turen i Akureyri i Eyjafjorden och kör kusten till GrenjaðarstaðurTurfhus och Museum. Där får vi inblick i områdets arv och historia, uppleva hur människor levde. Därefter går vi mot Goðafoss vattenfall. Efter att ha upplevt glaciärfloden Skjálfandafljóts kraft och fångat det pittoreska vattenfallet beger vi oss tillbaka till Akureyri. Du har möjlighet att ansluta dig till Skogslagunen.

Vi lämnar Akureyri och kör i ca 45 minuter tills vi når nästa stopp. Bilturen är guidad och erbjuder fantastisk utsikt.
Vi tillbringar ca 50 minuter vid Goðafoss vattenfall. I stoppet ingår kaffe och Kleina samt fri tillgång till toalett på Hotel Goðafoss. Njut av ett avkopplande och bekymmersfritt stopp vid Goðafoss vattenfall
Vi börjar med ett besök på Grenjaðarstaður Turf House museum. Besöket guidas och platsen erbjuder tillgång till toaletter.

Great tour; well worth the money. Ample time allowed in the important locations to see, photograph, and absorb the sites. Our tour guide was great!
This is a small business tour. We went places not available on other tours. The traditional turf house is amazing. The engineering and workmanship of these underground facilities was a once in a lifetime experience. The tour guide, Dabba, is a credit to the company. She had personal history of the area and took us through, and had detailed information, about the seldom seen neighborhoods. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.
OUTSTANDING!! I have never had a better tour. Dabba was absolutely the reason for that. She went out of her way to show us this wonderful place. We saw the oldest part of town. We went through the 5 mile tunnel. The scenery was breathtaking everywhere we looked. Loved the Turf House and church. The falls were amazing. The trip back to town around the mountain could not have been more beautiful. I highly recommend this fabulous tour.
Dabba was our tour guide and driver, she was a very safe driver and an even better guide to our tour. She was an Icelander and knew everything about the area around us. We learned much about Iceland the geography, the history, and the people. Her narratives were always fascinating. The tour in the turf house was something that one would never see by taking a ship excursion. It isn’t something for a group of 40 or 50 people. Our Small group was perfect. There were eight of us.
Our guide Kari and driver Asa were so engaging, informative and funny. They made the tour so fun and we learned so much about Iceland.

This company is excellent. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very accessible. They really took care of us and made us feel special. I cannot recommend Saga Travel highly enough. Whatever you do with them will be expertly done. For example, instead of going to Godafoss first, when it would be most crowded, we went to the Turf House first (super interesting- we all found it fascinating) and then to Godafoss. They thought every detail out. Book with them!
Our tour guide Hilmar did a fantastic job on the tour, going above and beyond our expectations. He was extremely knowledgeable and local to the area. He spoke from his experience, not just a script.
