Upptäck det magiska underlandet av sjön Myvatn och Godafoss vattenfall med en erfaren lokal reseguide. Vi ger oss av från Akureryi hamn och stannar vid det fantastiska vattenfallet Godafoss och sedan in på det berömda Lake Myvatn-området. i Lake Myvatn-området besöker vi Dimmuborgir Lava-formationerna och Námafjall-området där du kan se de bubblande Hverir Mud-poolerna och naturliga ångventiler eller fumaroler. Vi stannar också vid Myvatn Nature Baths där du kan njuta av baden och kaféet (Observera att entréavgiften till Nature Baths INTE ingår). Passagerare kan också välja att hoppa över naturbadet och istället besöka Grjotagja-grottan och rift. Denna prisvärda turné inkluderar en liten grupptur med en erfaren lokal reseguide och transport. Vi erbjuder gratis hämtning och avlämning till Akureyris hamn.

Vi besöker det fantastiska Godafoss vattenfallet, "Guds vattenfall" på väg från Akureyri till Myvatnsjön
Vi besöker de viktigaste platserna i Myvatn, inklusive Námaskarð, där du kan se de bubblande Hverir-lera poolerna och naturliga ångventilerna (Fumaroles), Dimmuborgir Lava-formationerna och Myvatn Nature Baths (var vänlig notera att entréavgiften till naturbadet ingår ej) . För dem som inte vill använda Nature Baths kan vi ta dig till Grotcaja grotta och rift medan andra använder Nature Baths.
Vi stannar till vid Naturbaden för att njuta av baden och kaféet. (Observera att entréavgiften till Naturbaden INTE ingår och MÅSTE bokas i förväg. Vi rekommenderar att du bokar biljetterna 3 timmar efter turnéns start
Vi slutar på Námaskarðområdet där du kan se de bubblande Hverir Mud poolerna och krukorna och de Naturliga ångventilerna (fumaroler)
Vi besöker de vackra lavaformationerna i ett område som även kallas "Dark Castle"
Vi besöker denna gamla badgrotta och en del av klyftan mellan de eurasiska och amerikanska kontinenterna

So good, Biggy was very knowledge. We had a great day
Fabulous tour!… our guide was SO good, telling us lots of stories and information about Iceland. He went out of his way to give us the best tour. The waterfall was simply stunning. We also went to the Nature Lagoon which was a truly spectacular experience. Warm, blue and gorgeous, a must do experience.
Godafoss was quite stunning but accounted for only a small part of the trip. The majority of the trip was either around Lake Myvatn and hordes of swarming midges or inside a nice van with fewer midges. Even our guide was shocked by the overwhelming number of these friendly flies. The midges don't bite but do other obnoxious stuff like fly up your nose, into your ears and into your mouth. Myvatn was just OK for me with lava structures being referred to as trolls. And there is a historic story about the 12 trolls of Christmas but I was so distracted by the flies I never really took it all in. The ride was long and accompanied by rather unremarkable scenery.
We got to see many things on this tour which were all very neat! Highly recommend swimming at the lagoon! Mr. G was fabulous, very kind and very informative! This tour was great to be able to see many things in a day!
Our Tour guide was very nice and fun and places we visited was very beautiful got to see the waterfalls ,lava land ,pass on the mountain tunnel and amazing landscape along the road
Wonderful day seeing the main sights. We never got to the caves as some travellers were always late getting back by the meeting times so by the end of the tour we had no time left for this part. wish we had longer at the earth lagoon.. it was the highlight of the day. Such a wonderful day.
This was a really well run tour and Johannas was an amazing tour guide. He was so informative and super funny and we enjoyed learning about this area from him and seeing all the different places!
The Godafoss waterfall was spectacular, apart from the hordes of flies which were somewhat annoying! Lake Myvatn area is huge and involved multiple stops. The lava formations, hot mud pools, Gjotagia caves all spectacular! The minibus was clean and comfortable and whilst our driver gave a reasonable commentary during the drive, was not very clear about the details at each stop and did not join us during each visit so it felt like the opportunity to understand more about each venue was a bit lost. Hence a 4 rather than 5 star review.
It was a lot of driving but that was known going in. We had a small group so we had freedom concerning how long we made each stop. Definitely saw more on this tour than was possible from the cruise ship.
It was fantastic and a great driver with a great be adventure of back roads - so fun…..it’s a beautiful country
