Jag är en passionerad kock och jag leder Soqueta. Soqueta är ett gastronomiskt hus, som syftar till att avslöja och främja mallorsk mat. Det är ett utåtriktat kök på gatanivå, för att Soqueta vill vara en enkel, direkt ingång till vägen för att vara på ön och framför allt till vår gastronomi som definierar i vår kultur. Jag uppmanar dig att laga mat och njuta av enkelheten att dela ett bord med det lugna som kännetecknar ön. Allt kretsar runt ett antikt köksbord som tillhörde ett gammalt mallorcas bondgård, och som vi tillsammans kommer att leva till liv igen.

From Market to Table – A Truly Special Day

We had an absolutely exceptional experience with Paula of Soqueta. From the moment we met at the Mercado d’Olivar in Palma, she opened up a world of insider knowledge—introducing us to hidden gems, passionate stallholders, and the finest produce Mallorca has to offer. We bought wonderful ingredients under her guidance, and the whole market tour felt like stepping into the heart of Mallorcan life. Afterwards, we went to her place where the magic truly began. Together, we cooked an array of authentic Mallorcan dishes, learning not only recipes but also the traditions and stories behind them. The food was delicious, the setting warm and welcoming, and Paula’s generosity of spirit made the entire day unforgettable. Paula is warm, generous, and makes the whole day fun and relaxed. It felt like spending time with a friend while discovering authentic Mallorca. Highly recommended!

Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! We spent half a day with the sweetest Poula, who taught us how to cook authentic Mallorcan food. Fresh ingredients, a warm and wonderful personality, and food that tasted absolutely heavenly. We can wholeheartedly recommend this cooking class! An unforgettable day in a Mallorcan cuisine.

Cooking is a passion of ours and we wanted to immerse ourselves in the culture and lifestyle of Mallorca through this path. This cooking class by Paula far exceeded our expectations. With unadulterated joy and great love for her culture and recipes, which are very much influenced by the way her family prepares, she gave us a deep insight into Mallorcan cuisine - far from tourist tapas nubs. She has always surprised us with her extensive knowledge of the food, its origin and its preparation. With a lot of diligence and perseverance, she has created an oasis of Mallorcan lifestyle. And of course, it tasted excellent as well. We can recommend Soqueta Experiences with full conviction.

Fantastic for foodies

Paula was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. We learnt about traditional foods and where on the island they are from. After all our cooking efforts we sat down to eat a wonderful meal. Overall it was such an enjoyable experience!

Excellent cooking experience!

Paola was lovely and the day was wonderful. She skillfully guided us through a relaxed preparation of a lovely meal. We were a mix of skill levels and ages and we were very comfortable throughout! Paola was extremely knowledgeable and lovely and we learnt a lot- about Mallorican cuisine, the island and history, and how to cut an artichoke. The recipes are ones I will cook at home!
