Njut av en dagstur då vi hämtar från ditt hotell i Siem Reap och kör 15 km från Siem Reap till Chong Khneas båthamnar. Vi åker ombord på en lokal båt för en härlig tur till Tonle Sap genom de flytande byarna Chong Khneas och byar på höga pålar. Denna turné tar dig till två olika byar längs Tonle Sap översvämningsslätter. Upptäck Tonle Sap-sjöns distinkta flödescykel och hur detta faktum gör den till Kambodjas viktigaste ekonomiska och ekologiska resurs. Genom att besöka Chong Kneas flytande byar och marknad, Kopong Phluk med mangroveskog och Kompong Phluk är byn på höga pålar, få insikter om hur byborna unikt lever i harmoni i denna ovanliga miljö över/på vatten. Tillbringa cirka 5 till 6 timmar vid sjön och dess översvämningsslätter för denna berikande kulturupplevelse. Denna turné inkluderar snacks, lunch, cola och kallt vatten på flaska.

Njut av en 5 till 6 timmars rundtur när vi hämtar upp från ditt hotell klockan 8:00. Vi kommer att köra 15 km söder om Siem Reap till Chong Kneas båthamnar.
Vi går sedan ombord på en lokal båt för en trevlig tur till Tonle Sap, som passerar genom den flytande byn Chong Khneas. Tonle Sap är den största sjön i Sydostasien och sträcker sig över den nordvästra delen av Kambodja. Sjön är ekonomiskt viktig eftersom den fungerar som en viktig källa till många sorters fiskar. Den sväller till tio gånger sin normala storlek under den våta årstiden, vilket ger olika vattenresurser. Den fungerar också som livsmiljö för flera arter av vattenfåglar. Chong Khneas är en flytande by i utkanten av Tonle Sap. Utforska de flytande hushållen, som huvudsakligen består av vietnameser, och som känns igen på grund av de färgglada husen. Ta en glimt av det flytande bylivet när vi passerar längs flytande hus, skolor, kliniker, sporthallar och till och med grisfarmar. Vi stannar vid Gecko Environment Center där du kan lära dig mer om ekologin och den rika biologiska mångfalden i Tonle Sap och dess omgivande översvämningsslätter.
Vi fortsätter vår båttur till fiskarbyn Kompong Phluk. Husen här är byggda på pålar. Denna by består nästan uteslutande av khmeriskt ursprung. Byborna flyttar hus beroende på årstid. De bor på pålar under regnperioden och flyttar till små hyddor nära stranden under torrperioden. Du kommer att besöka pagoden, den enda byggnaden i byn som inte är byggd på pålar, och observera byborna som gör sina dagliga aktiviteter. Du går sedan över till en liten kanot (aug-jan som tillval) för att paddlas av bybor, för att ta dig djupt in i den täta mangroveskogen. Mangroven är unikt anpassad till den översvämmade miljön och kan imponerande överleva att vara helt nedsänkt under en del av året. Vi tar dig tillbaka till ditt hotell i Siem Reap efter besöket i Kampong Phluk Village.

- Med gynnsamma väderförhållanden. Om på grund av dåligt väder (i mycket liten chans kan hända under regnperioden mellan jul och mitten av november), så besöker vi bara Kampong Khleang och Kampong Phluk Villages med bil istället och tar båttur i Kampong Phluk och Kampong Khleang By.

Overpriced. Disappointing. Dropped us at a floating cafe, caged miserable scared looking animals, baby crocs handed to people to hold, unethical, and tried to rip us off by saying you could only go around the floating village if you paid extra 20USD. We thought that was the trip we were getting! Phoned our tuktuk driver and he made our boat take us around the edge, no stilt village as mentioned, we'd recommend giving this one a miss. Many other disappointed and pissed off tourists here too, they should explain before you go that you need to pay extra if you actually want to go around the village. And no respect for animals here, just put for show. Guide included was angling for tips. Felt pretty unprofessional. Recommend going to a further away lake spot for hopefully a much better and authentic experience, as this one wasn't.
This was one of my favorite things we did in Cambodia. It felt like a sneak peak into rural life here and especially life in the fishing villages. You will stop at the floating villages and then also walk through the town (or canoe though depending on the water levels when you visit). We got to visit some of the locals home and see how they live, prepare food, and work. We also stopped in the school where the children were anxious to show off the English they are learning. Lunch at the restaurant was lovely! Thank you Nak and Sokhen for a great experience.
The trip was amazing! The views are so beautiful, fishing village is something I’ve never seen before. It’s even difficult to find words to express fillings! Special thanks to our guid Choub! He made our tour even more interesting with telling a stories about history and local traditions.

On a very hot day we had a lovely cruise on the largest freshwater lake in southeastern Asia. Although a long drive from Siem Reap, the journey was worth it. The floating village was fascinating with every conceivable facility available including Churches and restaurants.

Nak was an amazing tour guide, went above and beyond to cater to our interests and personalise our experience! My favourite was Kamplong Pluk village, the floating village where you can see the culture of the temples and schools. Highly recommend if in Siem Reap.

This was a refreshing trip to Tonle Sap Lake! It was fascinating for me to learn about the two floating villages in the area as well as the respective adaptations have to cope with the weather conditions. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 had a highly interesting trip to two floating villages guided by Mr Van Lonh. We learnt a lot from his sharing of the villager’s way of life and the eco-system in Tonle Sap. He was teamed by the driver, Mr Vong whose MPV is spacious and clean. We were assured by his safe driving. The highlight for me was to paddle the canoe among tall mangroves in the lake. I highly recommend this trip. 👍
