Nära Epernay, Champagnevingårdens huvudstad, upptäckten av "Côte des Blancs" Grand Cru och den berömda byn och vingården Hautvillers i Marnedalens historiska sluttningar som listats som världsarv av UNESCO. I Hautvillers, by som kallas "Champagnes vagga", guidad rundtur i kyrkan Dom Pérignon och vingården. Pausa vid Champagnens vackraste utsiktspunkt i hjärtat av vingården med förklaringar av vinodlingsförvaltningen. Besök produktionsplatserna för två familjer av oberoende producenter/odlare följt av kommenterade provningar av ett urval av 6 Champagne Grand Cru/Premier Cru, samt de nödvändiga champagnealkoholerna och aperitiferna under ytterligare provningar. Upptäcksrundtur i "Côte des Blancs", känt område för sin Grand Cru Chardonnay 100% Blanc de Blancs. I Hautvillers, by som kallas "Champagnes vagga", njut av en privat rundtur i kyrkan där graven till Dom Pérignon, känd som Champagnes andlige fader, ligger. Vi kommer att berätta hans historia för dig och du kommer äntligen att veta om han är champagnens uppfinnare eller inte!
I Hautvillers kommer vi också att stanna i Champagnes historiska sluttningar som listats som Word Heritage Site av Unesco för att njuta av det mest magnifika panorama av Champagne med utsikt över Marnedalen, platsen där Dom Pérignon utförde sina experiment inom vinframställning. Det är den idealiska platsen i hjärtat av vingårdarna för att ta oförglömliga bilder av dig och detta hisnande landskap. Vi kommer att besöka den första av de två familjerna av oberoende producenter/odlare som du kommer att upptäcka under din turné med förklaringar om champagnetillverkningsprocessen, besök av pressar, vingårdar och källare. Du kommer att smaka där, under en kommenterad provning, 3 olika GrandCru/Premier Cru-champagner*. *beroende på säsong och tillgänglighet kan detta besök/provningar äga rum i en by i "Côte des Blancs" eller i Aÿ-Champagne.
Under din upptäcktsresa i "Côte des Blancs" går vi genom Cramant som är en av de berömda byarna Grand cru som ligger söder om Epernay. Detta område i Champagne kallas "Kingdom of Chardonnay Grand Cru". Vi kommer också att passera andra kända byar som Chouilly och Avize, framför den största champagneflaskfabriken och nära det berömda "Chateau de Saran", den ultraprivata fastigheten där den lyxiga LVMH-gruppen (som äger Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon) , Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Krug ...) tar emot sina största kunder och VIPs samt "Montaigu-sajten" som är tillägnad champagnetillverkningen av Moët & Chandon.
Oger är en annan berömd Grand Cru-by i "Côte des Blancs" med den berömda "Blanc de Blancs" 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru. Det är här vi kommer att besöka en av de 2 familjerna av oberoende producenter/odlare av turnén med andra förklaringar om champagnetillverkningsprocessen, besök i pressar, vingårdar och källare. Du kommer att smaka 3 100 % Grand Cru-champagner med smakråd för att upptäcka de olika "Blanc de Blancs" som naturlig champagne utan dosering, extra brut, från gamla vinstockar, årgång eller till och med lagrad på ekfat.
Vi kommer att korsa i Epernay, Champagnevingårdens huvudstad, "Avenue de Champagne", en must-see Champagne UNESCOs världsarvslista. Den anses vara "den dyraste avenyn i världen" med sina prestigefyllda champagnehus, sina herrgårdar och sina 100 kilometer källare som döljer 200 miljoner flaskor. En kommenterad passage är planerad för att förklara historien om dess fantastiska herrgårdar och produktionsbyggnader som i århundraden tillhörde champagnehusen som Moët & Chandon, Perrier Jouët, Pol Roger, etc.

Outstanding, educational and fun tour.... we learned about the nomenclature, process, denominations, and history of champagne with a fun local guide. The two tastings offered novel small production vineyards with s broad array of different champagne. Highly recommend.

Fantastic luck with Philippe! His local knowledge as well as champagne skills were really appreciated by everyone in the group as much as his mood. The hours just flew by and we might as well have continued all evening :) During the tour we stopped for tasting at Jean Milan and Voirin-Jumel. We also visited Dom Perignon church and finished on a hill where we enjoyed the view as well as Philippe's surprises in the form of Ratafia and other drinks.

We highly recommend this champagne tour. The host Marine was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The tour tells you everything you need to know about champagne and the region. The degustation was excellent and from small champagne producers, which is lovely. We got picked up from the hotel and driven back where we asked. It is totally worth doing. 🍾👍🏼😊
