Är du redo att avslöja hemligheterna i Kastiliens huvudstad - La Mancha? Kom igen! När vi promenerar runt i Toledos katedral får vi lära oss om legenderna och berättelserna om staden med de tre kulturerna: kristna, araber och judar bodde tillsammans i en stad med många hemligheter att upptäcka. Vi kommer också att lära oss om historien om visigoterna och muslimerna som en gång ockuperade den nuvarande katedralen som går tillbaka till 1200-talet. Vi fortsätter i de judiska kvarteren, ett av de mest konstnärliga områdena och monumentala arvet från den historiska stadskärnan. Vi avslutar med att återvända till den inledande mötesplatsen, men inte innan vi passerat Casa Don Rodrigo de la Fuente, ett 1400-talspalatshus som var ett vittne och viktig huvudperson i Toledos historia och anses vara en plats av kulturellt intresse. VIKTIGT: För grupper med fler än 6 deltagare använder vi hörlurar. OBS! Barn under 12 år levereras inte med headset.

This tour was such a delight for our family of four with two teenagers. Toledo, in general, far exceeded our expectations. This tour was a wonderful way to learn about the city and see hidden gems. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade most of the time. Even with the very hot weather, it was enjoyable.

We toured with Juan and he was an excellent guide! We appreciated the insight of a local to share history and his personal recommendations on what to do in Toledo. He is lighthearted and welcoming, and answered all of our group's questions. We walked through the different parts of town and it was perfect for sightseeing during a day trip to Toledo! Overall, it was interesting, although I would have liked to be closer to very emblematic buildings in the city, such as the synagogues and the house of El Greco.

Juan was entertaining. However, his English was not as clear as I would have expected for an English language tour. It did not help that the quality of the audio equipment sound was poor

Toledo is rich with history and it’s also extremely noisy with buses, cars and people all jockeying for the same space - so we were very happy to be given small speakers that looped over one ear so that we could hear our guide as she regaled us with her stories of creation, life, destruction and rebirth. A great plan to experience all that Toledo has to offer is to start with this tour, and then plan the rest of your time based on what you learn in 90 minutes.
