Vi kommer att besöka hjärtat av den kejserliga staden Toledo, dess historiska komplex. I vår resplan kommer vi att besöka dess mest emblematiska gator och torg. I det historiska distriktet finns sådana intressanta platser som El Alcázar, Plaza de Zocodover, Spaniens första katedral, moskén Cristo de la Luz, de judiska kvarteren, synagogan Santa María la Blanca, transitsynagogan eller klostret från San Juan de los Reyes. Dessa är bara några av de mest kända. Dessutom kunde vi få tillgång till underjordiska utgrävningar som inte är öppna för allmänheten för att lära känna en del av det dolda Toledo, såsom islamiska hamam, romerska bad, medeltida Aljibe (tja), judiskt rituellt bad (Mickvé), etc... Vi kommer att ge dig råd utifrån öppettiderna, dina smaker och preferenser vilka platser som är lämpligast att besöka. Det blev ett av de viktigaste judiska kvarteren på den iberiska halvön. Med sina två unika moskéer kommer den att fängsla dig. Dess gränder och hörn kommer att få dig att bli kär.
Inuti den rymmer mästerverket El Greco: The Burial of the Lord of Orgaz. Ett av historiens viktigaste bildverk som bara kan beundras här eftersom det aldrig har varit på ett museum eller en utställning.
Juvelen i den sefardiska världen i Toledo. Den gamla huvudsynagogan i det judiska kvarteret i Toledo kommer att fängsla dig med sin skog av kolonner och hästskovalv.
Den sista synagogan som byggdes i Toledo. Denna 1300-talsbyggnad har en fantastisk dekoration som gör den unik i sin stil. Sefardiska museet för oss till en annan tid och hjälper till att bättre förstå det judiska arvet i staden.

Juan Ignacio was incredibly informative and gave us a lovely tour. It was well-paced and organized to avoid the heat of midday. We’d definitely recommend this highly!
Having a personal guide for three hours was a treat while we toured the historical parts of Toledo. Our guide was very well versed in the history of the ancient city. We learned a lot and found the information and sites to be fascinating . There were other places to see but we had reached our saturation point( it was a very hot day) and felt satisfied by all we saw and learned. I would have liked to spend more time looking at El Greco’s art, if I could. . On the day of the tour our guide helped me through an odd situation regarding the actual time for the cathedral tour. I received entry tickets an hour before it was open. I bought them from the actual cathedral office website so the tour agency had nothing to do with the confusion. Our guide took me to see their ticket seller at the Cathedral and he made sure we could get inside evening even though it was an hour plus later than our timed tour. He checked the validity of the tickets and they were authentic and paid for. Why a time was on the sight is the mystery. There was frustration on my part with inadequate communications with the service department of the tour agency. I found the examination of the personally planned tour to be vague. It took too long for me to wrap my might around what our tour would include and tried to get in touch with their customer service agent before our trip, but what I heard back was not satisfactory. I was trying to figure out logistics and our tour choices. It was the day before the date I heard directly from our guide and she further explained and answered my questions. She was very professional and I appreciated it. It was the customer service department’s lack of communication that caused confusion with conflicting information and did not provide specific answers as I requested on several occasions. The private tour was more expensive( twice the amount of the group tour and I wanted to make sure we understood what we would see and learn. In the end I was pleased with the tour but the aggravation before hand could have been eliminated quickly yet it was not. As it was, the personalized aspect of the tour never happened. I tried to gain an understanding of our offerings so I could actually select what we saw. The guide selected what we did and it turned out fine . A general tour of three areas in the city took up our three hour allotment.

Yolanda was a great tour guide. She was on time, presented herself well had a great personality was incredibly knowledgeable about Toledo and I am sure many other locations. Her detail, history was superb and she carries an iPad with up close pictures to describe important details. The passion she has for her profession is clearly what motivates her. We had an amazing full-day tour with Carmen! She was so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Toledo history.
