We had a great day and learned heaps and are now cooking Thai much more confidently at home. The team at Thai and Akha are awesome.
The Thai Akha Kitchen cooking class in Chiang Mai was an absolutely amazing experience! We learned to cook numerous traditional Thai and Akha recipes while also learning about the cultural and culinary differences between them. It was such a fun and meaningful way to experience Thai food and culture. Our instructor, On, was fantastic! She was incredibly informative, funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about Thai cuisine. She made the entire class enjoyable and easy to follow, and we learned so much along the way. This experience was absolutely worth the money, and I would highly recommend the Thai Akha Kitchen cooking class to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. A wonderful experience from start to finish! 🇹🇭🍜❤️
Had a very nice day in the cooking school. Lots of different dishes made and eaten, small group and a very friendly and clear hostess. We started shopping at the market, where we got a lot of explanation and we could taste everything.
Superb experience that begins with a tour of about an hour in a typical Chiang Mai market to try some local specialties and test local fruits. The class lasts about 4 hours and you will have the opportunity to cook nearly 11 typical Thai dishes. From snacks to desserts, including curries and soups. The place is very welcoming and the instructors are adorable and very educational. I recommend it without hesitation. Experience to do with the family.
First-class cooking class! Perfectly organized and every dish well accompanied. Very good food, 10 courses, and I haven't been this full in a long time. Clean and well-maintained location. Cooking instruction with a market tour by a very personable chef. A perfect ten!

One of the best experiences in Chiang Mai. The chef explained everything to us with great kindness, I learned a lot, and on top of that, we ate all the dishes we prepared, which were delicious. I highly recommend it
Brilliant experience, would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Thai cuisine. The guides were so friendly and personable, they lead us through the market and showed us popular Thai foods as well as local dishes found only in Chiang Mai. The cooking was set out well - clear and personalised instructions, good pacing when prepping ingredients and cooking, demonstrations from the guide, and breaks inbetween each section to sit and eat your dishes. I am an average cook but the food I created came out looking professional! Highly recommend.

Niti was amazing, she was so funny and her english was amazing. It was a combination of together cooking and do it by yourself. A beautiful kitchen. And Moh was also so sweet.
