I Taormina går du genom staden och njuter av skönheten i det historiska centrum där de största attraktionerna i staden ligger (grekisk teater, katedral, Belvedere-torget, Duomo-torget) och den vackra stranden Isola Bella som gjorde Taormina så berömda runt om i världen . Vi tar dig också till de bästa panoramautsiktpunkterna för att njuta av utsikten och ta minnesvärda bilder. Efteråt kommer vi att besöka den karakteristiska medeltida byn Castelmola med dess katedral och huvudtorget med en underbar utsikt över Mount Etna. Ett nästan obligatoriskt stopp är Turrisi Coffee Shop, där det är möjligt att smaka på ett speciellt mandelvin.

En gång i Taormina får du lite ledig tid till lunch. Efteråt går du runt stadens centrum, de vackra smala gatorna, de karakteristiska småbutikerna och besöker stadens främsta attraktioner, som den grekiska teatern (inträdesbiljett ingår ej), katedralen, Belvedere Square etc.
Vårt nästa stopp, 15 minuter långt från Taormina, är Castelmola, en underbar, karakteristisk medeltida by belägen ovanpå ett berg. Här ser du ruinerna av slottet, torget med katedralen och den underbara utsikten över Mount Etna. Ett nästan obligatoriskt stopp är Turrisi Coffee Shop, där det är möjligt att smaka på ett speciellt mandelvin.

Fantastic day with Giuseppe. Here was extremely was so knowledgeable & knew exact amount of time to spend in each location We were amazed at the scenery & history with each location that Giuseppe was able to elaborate on.
The scenery, Castellon, Taormina, Isola Bella are stunning. Had a great day exploring the villages, the "special bar" and seeing Mnt Etna.
The operator went to the wrong port for our cruise ship. I had emailed them in advance the correct location. After calling Viator for assistance the driver and interpreter arrived about an hour after the promised time. After a short time we discovered this was transport only to our destination. The Viator web site advertised it is a “Tour” but I would not call simple transport a tour. The driver and interpreter were good at what they did but from the website I expected more.
Hello, We asked you several times to specify the city where the ship would dock, but your answer was "I don't know", you only told us the pier number of the ship without specifying the city, and that pier number on Google Maps was in Syracuse, so I sent the car to the port of Syracuse, but the ship arrived in Catania! It's not our fault if you go on a cruise without even knowing the places where the ship will stop, and honestly I don't think it's normal...!! So don't blame us for this inconvenience! Regarding the service, the driver usually take the clients around giving information about places, but you had very short time and the driver could not provide the usual service we do.
Good smooth driving by Giovanni. Very responsive. Only very minor downside was the tour description said there would be water, but we didn't get any.
Such a great use of a day off our cruise ship. Our driver was number accommodating, organized, and on time. Thank you!

One thing you should know, is this is not a guided tour. However, it was still AMAZING! Guissipe {I hope I'm spelling that correctly} was fantastic and I really felt I was able to fully enjoy myself without feeling rushed at all. He took me to many key points, I enjoyed this very much!
Richard was our driver and he was caring, concerned about us, and directed us to places to see. He made the experience special.
It was not a tour at all but an expensive taxi service. We were dropped off at Castemola pointed in two directions; to the right is Castemola and to the left Taormina. Taormina was down below and we spent most of our time wandering around Castemola. No tour guide, no stories about Castemola nor Taormina. We finally were dropped off in Taormina and again spent time walking On my way our own, but no tour.
We apologize for what happened, you are right! Unfortunately the driver who had to accompany you on the tour that morning was sick and we had to replace him with one who had started working with us a few days before and only deals with transfers, so he was unaware to carry out the tour properly. The alternative would have been to cancel the tour that morning and refund you the amount, but we thought that between the two alternatives, letting you go anyway, even if with an unprepared driver, would have been better. I hope you will understand our position. unfortunately these unforeseen events can happen, and we are not always prepared for the optimal solution. Regards Taxi Catania NCC
First off, I booked this tour December 30th at about 8:30pm via Viator fir Dec 31st tour. The operator emailed me right away to clarify things that made the tour go smoothly. When we arrived in Catania at 5:40 early in the morning, our driver Danilo was was waiting for us already. We had an early start, meaning our time was not wasted at all. When we reached in Taormina, I asked Danilo to check if we can add done of the Godfather places to check and he called his boss right away and was confirmed we can do it. I was happy and appreciated the flexibility. We were able to check the places that I wanted to go. Just a reminder, our driver is not a licensed tourist guide but he tells us where to go and drop us off and pick us up like “door to door”. I would suggest to google the best places to visit and tell the driver what you most like to visit and read all about it. You will appreciate more if you know the story behind that particular area. This tour works perfectly for us. Thank you Danilo for doing above and beyond of what you are doing. Cheers!
