We had a great day, Anthony was an excellent driver, friendly, kept us engaged, knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating to a full group with various requests. Do note though, it’s not a traditional ‘hop on, hop off’ with set stops and timings. Otherwise a great way to get to and around Mount Tamborine!
A full day out in good weather with small group and 'hop on' 'hop off' options meant flexibility in choosing most appealing activities. Guide was clear and efficient, with good knowledge of the Mt Tamborine area.
The tour was very unorganized. The description in Viator did not match the tour experience. Be sure you are clear on expectations before booking.
This is a Hop on Hop off bus to a popular mountain that has no public transportation - it’s in the Product name and description. The tickets include unlimited Hop on Hop off around the Mountain and your option also includes access to the rainforest Skywalk. The point of Hop on Hop off is flexibility rather than being locked into a fixed itinerary, you can go where you like and everyone can enjoy their own unique experience. The guide is also there to assist if you are unsure of where to go.
Great knowledgeable driver (Trevor, I think) And skywalk and Tamborine mountain is really cool. A great day out of the city 👍
We were asked what would we like to experience and our very informative guide produced a great itinerary. The drive included stop-offs for scenic views and places of interest (glow worm grotto) Included for us were rainforest walks, and waterfall. Lunch was at an impressive local brewery. The day ended with a walk around the quaint town of Tamborine (bit touristy). Great personal tour.
Very flexible. Once on the mountain, you can choose from various options. The Skywalk is a must see!
Nice tour through the area, opportunity to see and do many things. Driver was kind and thoughtful. We did end up spending a lot of time driving around to shuttle people from here to there.
Although overall we had a good time on this excursion; it was not as expected or advertised. The term “hop on hop off” was not consistent with what we’ve experienced in the past. Yes, we were allowed to get off & back when the minibus stopped. The vehicle & driver were fantastic! We did not see the Gold Coast and we did not have multiple wineries. We had a stop with a hike to a falls which we had not seen in the itinerary and it was not appropriate in the short time allotted for some one with slight mobility issues. Please refund our money.
Hi Deborah, I'm sorry that you feel this way but This Hop on Hop off Shuttle is very clear and as discribed the only thing about this shuttle that is unique to this experience is that instead of going in circles around the city its focus is visiting regional areas without public transport. There are over 30 attractions around the mountain and you are able to visit any of them within the time limit provided. The bus travels from one end of the mountain to the other and you can get on and off as many times as you like before departing to Brisbane at the end of your day. While the Gold Coast is not part of this experience you can see it from certain view points and you were more than welcome to visit any of the wineries. This is a self guided experience meaning that you can hop on and off the bus as you like, you can also visit the sights that suit your abilities. Our drivers are really knowledgeable and have stories about the region and can help you along the way if there are certain attractions that you'd like to visit.
Enjoyed the day out - the group was so friendly - as well as enjoyed that we were sent a text confirming where we are getting picked up from the day prior to the tour. And that gave me peace of mind. Took a lot of photos and enjoyed the rainforest - it was a humbling experience to see nature at its best!
