Upplev det allra bästa av Blue Mountains på en oförglömlig dagsutflykt från Sydney. Res i en liten grupp på upp till 15 gäster för en avslappnad, personlig resa bort från folkmassorna. En höjdpunkt på dagen är vår bushwalk genom Wentworth Falls, som är känd för sin undercliff walk, en naturskön stig som slingrar sig under massiva sandstensöverhäng längs Jamison Valley. Vi stannar till för lunch och fritid i den charmiga byn Leura och avslutar dagen på några av Katoombas mest kända utkiksplatser inklusive de tre systrarna. Denna tur leds av passionerade lokala guider och färdas i ett bekvämt lyxfordon.

Vi börjar tidigt och lämnar den vackra staden Sydney bakom oss när vi åker västerut. Cirka 40 minuter senare anländer vi till vårt första stopp: Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park. Här finns världens största samling av australiska inhemska djur, med över 2 000 djur på plats. Featherdale är känt för sina närkontakter med vilda djur. Här kan du handmata vänliga kängurur, ta ett professionellt foto med en söt och älskvärd Koala, knäppa en selfie med det ”lyckligaste djuret på jorden” Quokka och träffa Wombats, tasmanska djävular och mer. Du kommer också att se de levande färgerna i Australiens inhemska fågelliv, inklusive Emus, Cassowaries och skrattande Kookaburras. För dem som vill utforska Australiens vildare sida, några av landets mest kända "läskiga" varelser visas också upp, inklusive dingo, krokodiler, ormar och spindlar.
En höjdpunkt på dagen är vårt besök i Wentworth Falls, ett av de mest imponerande vattenfallen i regionen. Fallen störtar nästan 300 meter totalt, vilket gör dem till bland de högsta i Blue Mountains och en sann utstickare av turen. Wentworth Falls är känt för sin underklippspromenad, en skyddad och naturskön stig som slingrar sig under massiva sandstensöverhäng längs Jamison Valley. Det anses vara en av de vackraste promenaderna i Blue Mountains, med dramatiska perspektiv och ständigt skiftande vyer. Klara dagar bjuder utsiktsplatserna på vidsträckta vyer som sträcker sig mer än 50 kilometer över dalen. Bushwalking är en klassisk australisk upplevelse, och det finns flera promenadalternativ här för att passa olika energinivåer. Observera att området innehåller trappor och som ordspråket säger, det som går ner måste komma tillbaka upp. Men ansträngningen är väl värt det, särskilt med lunch väntar på vårt nästa stopp.
Vi besöker sedan Leura Village, allmänt ansedd som den vackraste byn i Blue Mountains. Elegant, lummig och full av karaktär, Leura är känd för sin charmiga huvudgata och avslappnad bergsatmosfär. Njut av ledig tid att äta lunch på ett av de många kaféerna, konditorierna eller tesalongerna, bläddra i butiker och bokhandlar, eller helt enkelt vandra och njuta av den fridfulla bergsomgivningen.
Eftermiddagen tar dig till Echo Point, Blue Mountains mest berömda utkiksplats. Sola dig i det gyllene ljuset när det lyser upp de tre systrarna och kastar ett fascinerande blått dis över dalen.
Innan du återvänder till Sydney, sträck på benen vid Cahills Lookout och Boars Head, två sista hisnande vyer över den megalånga dalen för att avsluta dagen. Njut av flexibiliteten att anpassa dina stopp och göra denna tur verkligen din egen.

Great experience in the Blue Mountains. Very nice hike. Small group. Wonderful informative guide. Well timed stops.
Misty hike, might suggest hiking boots, but definitely doable. Wonderful vistas. Mark was an awesome host and guide. Name that tune-Aussie style was so much fun.
Mark was our guide. It was a true small group tour in a very comfortable van that was very clean and had great visibility. I am a big guy (well over 6 foot and not skinny) so van space is important to me on tours. The tour was over 9 hours, but the time flew by. The bushwalk was a highlight especially accented by Mark’s knowledge of the flora and fauna. We really enjoyed the time at the wildlife sanctuary and would love to have spent more time there, but all in all our time was managed very well. Mark’s audio commentary was excellent in the van and the sound system performed nicely which tends to be a problem on many tours we go on. We learned a lot about Australia. The bushwalk registered 17 flights and some 10,000 steps on my Apple Watch. The views were breathtaking and well worth the hike. We had perfect weather in mid April. We were in Sydney on a cruise ship stop for the day. We had complications due to customs, but the communication and accommodation by the company were excellent in arranging our pick up and drop off. BTW. The lunch was great and we appreciated the recommendations and suggestions from Mark as to what was available. We have no negative feedback whatsoever for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend you go with them.

Amazing guide. Mark made the trip. He modified the walking to fit my wife’s knee while also showing us everything and challenging the rest of us to get some amazing views. His knowledge was deep and varied to make the day informative and entertaining. We did Australian music trivia on the drive back which made the time fly by. Probably the best tour guide we have had in any country we have used Viator in.

This tour was the perfect mix of the Blue Mountains. Craig was a great guide and communication pretour was perfect. Pickup was on time. I enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife park. We arrived before the big buses and I felt like we had plenty of time to see everything. The walk to Wentworth Falls was awesome. We were given a choice on the way back(one way was easier than the other). The weather was perfect while we were at Echo point.. and the views did not disappoint.

Outstanding day trip to blue mountains. We saw many animals, and interesting insects and flora and fauna and history of the area and Australia in general. The tour was enhanced by personal stories and experiences that our guide, Mark, added.

Sights were amazing, and seeing animals at wildlife park was fun. Lunch stop was charming. Mark our guide/driver was fantastic guiding us along the day and a fountainof information; he made it fun and was personable. Well managed time, we spent the perfect amount at each stop. Must do tour!

I chose this tour with Sydney Adventure Tours on the recommendation by my sister Ann who had come last year and also the reviews. Our guide Mark was fun to be with, knowledgeable, entertaining, observant and caring for our safety. Our group totalled 5 and we all got along well. Our stops were great, his recommendations for restaurants were really good and his timing at each spot was great. We were very lucky weather wise as we were supposed to have rain but it held off until the very end of the day. On the way back to Sidney Mark played us music composed, written and sung by Australian singers and musicians. A lot of fun to hear them and learning about the artists. Robert and I highly recommend this tour and ask for Mark!

Even thought we had a drizzly day, we were able to hike and visit all of the sights. Mark was our tour guide and he was excellent - very knowledgeable and very entertaining! It was a great day & I would highly recommend!
