Ge dig ut på en Svenska semesterupplevelse i Stockholms vinterlandskap på en två timmar lång guidad tur i liten grupp. Ta del av magin i en Svenska jul med expertis från en lokal Guide. Medan du utforskar julmarknader, njut av semester delikatesser och godsaker! Börja turen framför Nobelmuseet, där du möter din Guide och dyker in i Gamla stans julmarknad. Upptäck sedan hur julen firas i Sverige, från maten till traditionerna och ritualerna. Du kommer att kunna insupa den Svenska julstämningen med en provsmakning av julrätter och godsaker. Friskrivningar : - Om du har några matallergier, ange dem genom att DMing oss. - Julbelysningen börjar först runt 15:00 från och med 15 november 2024 (så du kommer inte att se de flesta lampor tända om du väljer morgonturen) - Gamla stans julmarknad är endast öppen från 22 november till 23 december, men det finns andra marknader som vi hänvisar dig till om du ansluter dig till oss före 22 november.

Vår guide (klädd gul väst eller neonband) möter dig framför entrén till Nobelprismuseet. Vänligen kom 10 minuter före starttiden så att du hinner checka in och även kolla in julmarknaden mer i detalj.
Vi kommer att gå förbi Tyska kyrkan och prata om typiska svenska jultraditioner.
Prova de söta och sura godisarna som tillverkas i denna traditionella godisbutik från 1800-talet.
Här kommer vi att diskutera historien om världens högsta naturliga julgran och fördjupa oss i vilken typ av juldekorationer som visas upp i de flesta svenska hushåll.
Vi tar oss till julbelysningen från Älgfamiljens utomhusinstallation, då dessa nordiska djur guidar oss på vägen till Nordpolen och jultomten.
Vi avslutar vår Xmas Experience på King's Garden, där du kan prova på skridskoåkning och en kopp glögg tillsammans med några pepparkakor - ett trevligt hjärtvärmande avslut på vår julstund tillsammans.

The guide was fairly good. Group size was manageable. We struggled to find the guide at the start an had to call. Another couple had the same issue. May need to consider a better starting point. Calling it a food experience is a stretch. We sampled 2 treats that were not fresh but came from a supermarket packet out of guide's backpack (ie biscuits). Glogg was actually quite nice. Disappointed the Christmas markets were closed. This was not easily identified in the booking that this would not be included.

Anna is a fantastic tour guide. There was an even balance of sightseeing, food, drinks and social gatherings. She does a terrific job and makes you feel included throughout the whole experience. Would recommend completely.

We really enjoyed the Route, as well as all the personal fun-facts our guide Ana provided! It was a pleasure to try the traditional snacks as well as hearing about the citys history.
