Having been told by many people that we shouldn’t miss a tour of the Stockholm archipelago to demonstrate how many beautiful islands comprise this city, this tour did not disappoint. Truly a bargain at $39.52 per person, this was a lovely boat ride (some seats covered in case of inclement weather) through some of the waterways that surround Stockholm. Our tour guide, Tessa, was a very well-spoken, well-educated, and knowledgeable tour guide who eloquently described in detail the history and current state of islands we passed along the way. This was a pleasant and educational way to spend 2 hours on a beautiful July morning in Stockholm.
I really enjoyed the tour. Very nice scenery from the boat and we even had perfect weather. Big thanks to our captain Alex and especially to our guide Tessa, who was very knowledgeable and had a lot of interesting stories about the places we saw as well as swedish traditions and people of importance. She also was very humourous, which made the tour even better. I think doing a boat tour like this one while in Stockholm is a must do. While I can't speak for how to the competition does them, I firmly recommend this one and it certainly is worth the price.
Relaxing way to explore the beautiful Stockholm archipelago and Stockholm city scape. Great commentary on the sights and history.
Tessa was a great guide. We learnt so much about the city and locals. It is just the right amount of time. The boat is lovely. For the best view, sit more in the middle of the boat as the wooden panels curve up and could obstruct the view if you are smaller and sitting towards the front.
Tessa was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining!
Beautiful boat ride around Stockholm! Our guide Emil gave us great information about the archipelago and life in this part of Sweden. We had a gorgeous, sunny afternoon. They did have number of blankets available if it's a cooler day.
Loved the antique wooden boat - it was low to the water so gave a wonderful more personal and up close view. Our guide Emil was super fun and engaging and told us a great deal of information about Stockholm and its various neighborhoods and history. Our captain Karl was also great and also gave us some good boating information. Would highly recommend over some of the larger boats.
The boat ride and captain were lovely. The guide was young and ditzy, but no matter. The city is beautiful and it’s a must experience.
Tessa was an excellent guide, and made this 90 minute trip an outstanding experience. From the start near the Royal Palace the route took us around Djurgarden Island, past many buildings and other sites of interest. We could move around on the boat and enjoy the open passenger space. Highly recommended.
The tour with Tesa was so great! She’s so fun and informative. Highly recommend!
