Denna lilla grupp mat och dryck turné i Liverpool koncentrerar sig bara på lokalt ägda, oberoende mat och dryck leverantörer. När vi gör vår väg genom Liverpools gator kommer vi att stanna till vid 5 olika ställen för att njuta av läckra rätter som representerar Liverpool och hennes samhällen. Varje tur leds av en av våra vänliga lokala experter som har arbetat tillsammans med våra leverantörer och vet hur man får oss till platser som andra inte ens vet om. Full av fascinerande och coola berättelser om staden och hur livet är här, kommer du att lämna med en ny känsla av tillhörighet till vår stad. Två av stoppen inkluderar också en alkoholparning vilket gör det till den perfekta lunchupplevelsen. För dem som inte dricker har vi några fantastiska alkoholfria alternativ att prova. Veganer och vegetarianer tillgodoses. Gäster under 16 år kan boka en privat tur.

Vi träffas vid den äldsta byggnaden i Liverpool som ursprungligen byggdes som en skola på 1700-talet. Det är nu ett centrum för konst här i Liverpool. Vi tar en promenad runt denna fantastiska byggnad innan vi sätter oss ner för vår första tugga som är en lokal klassiker.
Vi har en promenad genom vad som till en början ser ut som en shoppinggata men vi kommer snart att lära oss det ganska olyckliga förflutna i detta område. Det finns historia i varje hörn i den här staden och vi kommer att dela historierna som inte bara formade Liverpool utan hela världen, direkt från dessa gator.
Detta är också känt som köpmannens kvarter. Båda sidorna av gatan har de mest fantastiska 1700-talsbyggnaderna som ursprungligen byggdes för köpmännen som gjorde sin förmögenhet på hamnen. En fantastisk gata att utforska och vi har en riktigt vänlig matförsäljare som väntar på att välkomna oss till hans restaurang.
Den äldsta Chinatown i Storbritannien har en av de mest imponerande kinesiska bågarna överallt i världen. Vi kommer att höra om historien om Liverpools kinesiska samhälle och få några läckra bitar medan vi är här.
Denna gamla kyrka står nu som ett minnesmärke över andra världskriget samt ett kulturellt utrymme som är värd för evenemang och konserter. En alldeles unik del av Liverpool.
Detta område har en del fantastisk arkitektur och är också hem för Liverpools mest hända gata. Fantastiska restauranger tävlar om vår uppmärksamhet men oroa dig inte, vi tar dig till en av stadens mest älskade gömda pärlor.
Hem till ett av de bästa universiteten i Storbritannien Liverpools kunskapskvarter har några mycket intressanta bakgator. Från spökhus till gömda restauranger och en av de mest unika gravarna du någonsin kommer att se.

Fantastic food and drink tour around independent cafes and restaurants in Liverpool’s vibrant city centre with our lovely and knowledgeable host, Helen. Not only included a wide variety of excellent food and drink but also Helen provided us with a lot of interesting historical facts about this amazing city along the way. Highly recommended.

Lovely experience touring Liverpool with Helen. She was a wealth of information and clearly loves her hometown. We enjoyed all of our stops—and the plentiful dishes—the Scouse and Stormy drink was particularly unique. We also got some great recommendations from Helen for later on.
