Börja din resa med bil från Hotel Rozafa i Shkoder på morgonen. Koppla av på vägen till Komansjön med stopp längs vägen för att fånga bilder av den natursköna albanska landsbygden. Someone from North Albania Travel sent us WhatsApp messages with detailed info on pickup, times, locations, what to bring, and more for the Komani Lake tour. They were quick to answer questions and gave us up-to-date info on what to expect and packing suggestions. The bus ride there is scenic and we stopped for a rest break before getting to the ferry (which is another hour ride to the swimming/kayaking area). It was extremely crowded and we brought our own food per their suggestion since it’s tourist season, but you can also get drinks and snacks. My friend and I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!
The environment was gorgeous, the amazing mountains, the crystalline lake and the people who join the boat trip makes a really great experience.
The trip was worth it; communicating with the operator was easy and accessible, and all explanations were clear.
The expedition to the lake was very well organized, the guide called us and provided very good information about the organization of the day. The bus driver drove very well. I recommend it!
The boatride on Komani lake was nice, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Very refreshing in the warm weather with the fresh air and wind in your face. Shaka river was very cold and very refreshing to swim in, however be prepared that everything (even the toilets) cost money when you have been dropped off at Shala river. It was also extremely crowded and commercialized. Otherwise, a very nice trip!

Every thing is ok. Very interesting trip. Comunitations was very fast for whatsapp. pickup was on time and screw was good
Everything was very well organised. The staff was very nice. Although the trip from the pickup (Shkoder for us) was a little bit long, it has some really nice views so you don’t really feel it at all. Everything went smoothly. The place is amazing and everyone should visit it.
Very well organized, transport from Shkoder by bus, then boat, nothing to say it's perfect. The site is magnificent. The Shala River is very crowded in August, it spoils the fun a little. Don't waste your time at the restaurant, too long, prefer sandwiches bought the day before. Another downside, the bottom of Lake Koman looks a bit like a dump, plastic bags and bottles... A bit like everywhere else. It's worth it despite everything.
