Shop owner was very nice and accommodating, friendly, and informative. Michael the guide was patient and attentive making sure we were comfortable riding the segway. He toured us in places we would not have gone if not for him.
Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re glad Michael made your Segway tour comfortable and enjoyable while showing you some hidden spots around Balboa. We really appreciate your kind words and hope to see you again!
Had a great time. Michael was an excellent and patient instructor but Segways are totally underrated. Not used as much anymore but they are super fun and the tour around Balboa was the best way to do it!
Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re so glad Michael made your Segway tour comfortable and fun. It really is such a unique way to explore Balboa and the Peninsula. Hope you’ll ride with us again next time!
If you've never been on Segway before, never fear. My wife doesn't know how to ride a bicycle. She learned how to ride the Segway in about 5 minutes safely in a blocked off parking lot. Mike, our guide was great. He took us down safe alleys and we only did the pedestrian walkways that weren't packed with people. He also pointed out where some famous folks live or used to live. Then he acted as our photographer taking memorable stills and videos. There's a huge playground where we could freestyle, too! Immediately after, my wife said she wanted to experience Segway again elsewhere.

Thanks so much! We really appreciate the recommendation.
Very prompt, the guide had lots of insight to the area. You will travel a lot further than you would think. The ride down the beach has amazing views and sights. We did the morning tour and the boardwalk was not busy and very easy to navigate.
What an incredible day celebrating the birthday of one of my closest friends. The weather was perfect.
