Gaslamp Quarter, känd som den historiska hjärtat av San Diego, är ett 16 kvarter i stadsdelen fullt av nattliv och världsberömda restauranger. Full av viktoriansk arkitektur och små museer, liksom Horton Plaza Park och Petco Park, det är ett måste-se.
Öppet 2004, är Petco Park en relativt ung stadion och permanent hem för den älskade San Diego Padres, och hem till många festivaler och andra evenemang. Det har ett gräsbevuxet område som kallas Park at the Park, flera populära restauranger.

Den rosa trädgården i Balboa Park har en fantastisk 1 600 rosor av 130 arter med nya arter och rosor som läggs till varje år. Trädgården är i blom under hela mars till december och är en tre tunnland promenad av färg och skönhet.
San Diego Convention Center är ett landmärke i San Diego och har över sex hundra tusen kvadratmeter utrymme med en kapacitet på 125 000. Det är hem för konventioner stora och små hela året, och i synnerhet är hem för världsberömda San Diego Comic-Con på sommaren.
Indiens stjärna byggdes 1863 som ursprungligen heter Euterpe och är fortfarande det äldsta skeppet som fortfarande seglar regelbundet. Det är ett nationellt och kaliforniskt historiskt landmärke och gör sitt permanenta hem i San Diego Bay.
Homecoming är en bronsreplikat av Stanley Bleifelds skildring av en seglare som återvänder hem och blir omfamnad av sin familj. Originalen var skulpterad för Navy Memorial, och repliken hedrar nu tjänsten hos de lokala californiska sjöarna av flottan.

Phenomenal tour with Jeff -- this is our fifth Segway excursion (in different cities) and we loved the personal touches on the tour. We seriously don't think it could have been any better. We will 100% be recommending this for company to friends and family. If you want to get the lay off the land before setting off to enjoy the area... this is a fantastic way to do it. In fact, we used the tour information already to have a great meal and a wonderful walk back. Truly all we hoped it would be. Thanks to Jeff and Kenny (and Judy) for all the recommendations. We are avid travelers, so we've taken a lot of tours around the world. My youngest son (13) said, "this was hands-down the best tour we've ever taken!" That really sums it up, right there! Would highly recommend!

Kenneth with Another Side of San Diego tours was AMAZING to work with, we worked together planning over the course of 9 or 10 months and from the very start he was extremely communicative and helpful with planning this group activity. We spoke on the phone multiple times, and always was quick to email me back addressing many questions and changes in group sizes. Our group really loved the Gaslamp tour on their eBikes, I loved hearing about the interesting facts about the San Diego area and the team had some great photo opportunities!

The segway tour was wonderful! We were provided with helmets, water bottles, and the Segways. It turned out that the tour consisted of just our family so we were able to customize it to our preferences. Amy was knowledgeable, helpful, and kept the tour going at a quick pace. She even gave us restaurant referrals for later in our trip. We got to practice on the Segways outside the office and that helped us feel more confident before starting the tour. We were able to use bike lanes and walking paths besides just city streets which made it more comfortable. We covered a lot of area and visited many popular spots, receiving historic background for each area. The time flew by and we enjoyed the tour very much. We've been to San Diego many times before and this was by far the easiest way to get an overview of the city. We'd highly recommend this Segway tour!

The Segway tour was amazing! Mari and Matt made sure we were comfortable on the Segway before we started our journey into the streets of the Gaslamp district. We visited each place as advertised. The tour went for just over 2 hours. The flexibility with this company was great as we had to reschedule our tour at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Thanks for a memorable tour!

The Segway tour was great and so much fun - we explored so much of downtown. It was 2 hours and a great amount of time. Amy was a fantastic tour guide. She made the experience really unique and interesting. We had a great time and felt in good hands.

My husband and I have made it a habit to seek out a Segway tour every time we travel. We are so glad we found the Gaslamp Segway Tour with Another Side of San Diego Tours. Our guide was Jeff and he possessed a wealth of knowledge and experience on our tour. Only one of the group signed up for this tour was a novice and Jeff took the time to make sure he was well trained and versed in everything Segway before we took off. Our 2 hour tour was packed with great information about the history and progress of the Gas Lamp district. We Segwayd (?) around downtown and along the harbor as well as Balboa park. So much information and so much fun! Highly recommend!

This was a super fun experience and a unique way to get the highlights of Balboa Park, Little Italy, some interesting historical tidbits and facts about this area of San Diego. Preston was a delightful and entertaining guide and the Segways were a blast for this 70 yr old tourist.
