The guide was very nice but it’s just an average tour. Nothing exciting. Wines were good though. I thought it was a bit pricey for what the tour was.
Misrepresentation. 2 TASTING ROOMS (one was their own!) and only one vineyard. Lovely knowledgeable people. Well organized. Just not what we signed up for. The vineyard we did go to could use a working fountain, music, and an explanation of the wines. Also suggest that Rooted Vines (the actual company conducting the tours) sell travel cases for checking into a plane as we would have bought wines!

What a treat while in Santa Barbara for an extended weekend stay over our anniversary! I’ve been to Napa valley and Temecula. While each location has something to offer I really enjoyed the small personal tour provided by Rooted Vine tours. Our guide and drive Yunee was very engaging and fun with a wealth of knowledge to share about the three different wine tasting locations we visited; winery, storefront, and production facility. We ended buying a little from each location as each explained how their wines were unique and special. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more intimate experience than the mainstream wine tours in Napa, Temecula, etc

Fun, informative and well organized. We got a look inside the entire wine making industry. From the vineyards, to the production to the tasting room. Uni was the most informative and pleasant guide. Very knowledgeable and presents the information in a great way as well as dishing on the Santa Barbara area history. What an education, we started out as novices and finished the day with a pretty good understanding of Wine. Three separate vineyard tastings🍷🍷🍷 and a very good lunch is provided. As travel advisors we would not hesitate to send our clients on a Rooted Vine Tour.

We had a wonderful day in the wine country of Santa Barbara County. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the wineries in the area, and took us to three small, family owned wineries that produce small batches of excellent wine. We even had a presentation on the whole process, from grape to amazing wine. We really enjoyed the tour and brought home a number of bottles. I highly recommend Rooted Vine tours, and would not hesitate to book another tour with them!

We had such a great time on this tour! We came in knowing next to nothing about wine and very little understanding of the tasting palette. By the end of the day we had learned so much and had a ton of fun doing it! Yune was our guide and she had a great working knowledge of the vineyards, the cultivation/growing/producing process, and she was always engaged with the group. She also did a wonderful job of helping the different couples get to know one another. Another great thing about this tour was that there was no crazy drunken party people on it. It felt like a fun, sophisticated, learning experience that had us feeling like we had made friends, learned a ton, and did it leaving us full on wine!

The wine tasting tour truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful and supportive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back, allowing us to fully savor each stop without ever feeling rushed. We visited three very different wineries, each offering something unique, and had the opportunity to learn a great deal while connecting with some truly wonderful people along the way. The Rooted Vines samples were AMAZING! Our tour guide Yunee was top notch! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable wine country experience.
