Privat ridning och vinprovning Tour

Had a wonderful private tour through Captain Jacks. Jacob picked us up promptly at our hotel and shuttled us up to the ranch for a gorgeous morning horseback ride. The wranglers chose our horses for us based on riding experience and I must say, I was impressed! The animals are well cared for and it shows. There were only 4 guests on our ride and it was easy to converse with trail guide. The scenery is stunning! After this, we drove up to taste wine at 2 different vineyards. We enjoyed a delicious ( optional purchase ) lunch at our first stop. I recommend eating as not only is the food delicious, you try a lot of different varietals. This was a delightful day and fun activity to experience while in the area. Pro tip : Book directly through tour operator and save yourself some $$.

Meredith was amazing! She gave us so much info as we were traveling and we saw some amazing views! The wineries were awesome and the horseback riding was so much fun!

We had a great time, and the tour made a wonderful birthday gift! Mark in the office was quick to respond to emails and answer questions, and was friendly over the phone while booking the horseback and wine tour. Meredith was our guide and super sweet and knowledgeable. She was on time and had a thoughtful welcome beverage to help us celebrate and start off right. The horseback excursion was a lovely ride through the canyon. The horses get to roam free at night throughout the ranch which was nice to hear, and they were clearly well taken care of. All of the ranching staff were friendly and made us feel at ease, even if we weren’t around horses regularly. The ride boasted lovely panoramic views and ended up being a fairly tranquil experience. The couple of wineries we went to were lovely as well. Overall, we had a great time and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Meredith was the best tour guide we ever experienced! She was well versed in the history of Santa Ynez and giving us lots of fun facts at each winery we went too and she through in a surprise stop at the end. Wonderful experience and it was very intimate as it was only a total of 4 people on our tour.

My husband and I had the best time on the Santa Ynez wine tour with Meredith! She took us to excellent wineries and was very accommodating for what we were looking for! She’s close with all the winery servers which is always a nice bonus! Transportation was smooth and included plenty of water and even snacks. Recommend to all looking for a tour of the area.

I have lived in Santa Barbara part time for 5 years and have always taken guests over to the wine country myself, so I knew a little bit about things there, but Meredith opened my eyes to so much more. I had 7 girlfriends come to visit and Meredith worked with me to make it a great memorable experience. She was very accommodating to all our needs and wants. You knew the owners of the vineyards thought well of her, and she introduced me to each of them. We went to the olive farm, which I didn't know existed there, and was a great addition to our tour. Meredith recommended the lunch at Roblar which was fabulous. On the way back to Santa Barbara, the sun was setting and she even pulled over to allow us to take pictures of the amazing sunset. From start to finish, it was a perfect day.

We did a wine tour with Captain Jack's Santa Barbara Tours for my mum's birthday. We wanted to have a fun but safe experience given Covid 19 and everything. Meredith the tour guide wore her mask the whole time and found wineries that did outdoor tasting for us. Meredith was so sweet and accommodating. She even bought a bottle of wine for my mum. Meredith was so organized and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this tour company.

I am so glad I booked this tour! Meredith and Tammy were absolutely amazing hosts! I worked with Meredith to get everything set up and she made everything so easy. My husband and I just got married and wanted our families to be able to be able to spend time together and have fun outside of the hustle and bustle of wedding activities. This was the perfect get away. The stop at the olive oil farm was amazing and different from other tours offered. You can also tell the relationships that each vineyard had with Meredith and the Captain Jack team. From pick up to drop off it was a seamless and super fun experience for everyone.

I am so glad we booked this tour! It was worth every penny. Meredith answered all our questions and is very accommodating even before booking our tour. She made sure that we are well taken care of. We were greeted with Happy our tour guide and I shall say it was a very fun experience. We were lucky enough to have a private tour instead of a public one. Happy is very well informed around the area and showed us all the fun activities and places to see while driving us around Santa Ynez. We went to 3 beautiful wineries across the valley, and also went to an olive oil tasting. At the wineries they were very generous with the pours and Happy really made sure that we were having a good time. She even has water and snacks prepared for us. After the trip, she even gave us recommendations of places to eat and things to do around Santa Barbara since we don't really have any other plans the day after. Overall I give it 5 stars and I am so glad everyone had a great time!

My dad and I did a half-day wine tour in the Santa Ynez valley with Captain Jacks. We booked a public tour but we got lucky and it ended up just being the two of us with our own private guide, Nikko. The experience was great beginning to end - from booking to our tour guide. Nikko was friendly, informative and after getting to know our interests, he changed the last to vineyard stops to better suit what we were seeking. Waters, snacks and endless information all along the way. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
