Platsen där vårt land började som en officiell administration: Det gamla guvernörspalatset, den första stadsfullmäktigekammaren, det första fängelset och även den första stadshissen som byggdes på planeten.
Med sin urbana funktion kopplar Lacerda-hissen dagligen samman cirka 27 000 personer under högsäsong, från nedre staden till övre staden och vice versa.
Mercado Modelo (modellmarknaden) är en av de fyra mest besökta attraktionerna i vår stad, tillsammans med Lacerda hissen.
Det otroliga fallna korsmonumentet avslöjar hemligheterna bakom detta torg, där Brasiliens primatkatedral förstördes kriminellt 1933.
På ett av de livligaste torgen i den historiska stadskärnan kommer vi att bli förvånade över några av de drygt 365 kyrkorna i vår stad. Det är också där vi hittar capoeira dansare, Bahian kvinnor klädda i traditionella Bahian kläder, och stadens mest kända barer och restauranger.
Klostret i São Francisco är känt som den gyllene kyrkan och anses också vara ett av de 7 underverken i världen av Portugisiskt ursprung.
En paus för att veta om historien om bandet som fängslade alla, introducerad till världen av kungen av pop, Michael Jackson.
Här kommer vi att vara i hjärtat av staden, där inte bara Michael Jackson utan även andra artister har uppträtt på grund av sin rika historia. Svarta kyrkan ligger också där.

We had a great tour! It was packed with super interesting information about Salvador and the Bahia Region in general. Even though we read a lot in advance about the region, we learned so much! We also had a nice tour around the city and got great tips for our further stay. The guide also offered us to text him if we had any further questions which was super helpful. Can 100% recommend!
Adriano was a super guide. He was funny and informative from the beginning and always ready to give answers. He showed us around in the city centro and explained the rich but layered history of Salvador in an interesting way. He also gave us a lot of recommendation about food places, attractions etc.. totally worth.
I’ve done 30+ walking tours and this was certainly one of the best. Very soon into the tour, you can clearly tell that Adriano has a strong passion and knowledge of Salvador and Brazil as a whole.
