Parken för grekisk mytologi ligger i byn Psychro i kommunen Lassithi Plateau. Nära Dikteogrottan, som enligt myten Zeus föddes, de gamla grekernas Gud. Innehåller ämnen relaterade till traditionen av grekisk mytologi, minoisk civilisation och landsbygdsliv på Kreta.
I byns torg Krasi finns tre platanträd, byns varumärken. De viktigaste av dem är platan i mitten av torget, vilket anses vara den äldsta och mest majestätiska av platonträd på Kreta.
Passerar genom den största skogen på ön, där vägarna är obefintliga, och bergen når en höjd av 1.500 meter, kommer det att finnas ett förfriskningsstopp vid en lokal kafé.
I Kritsa, som är en traditionell lägre bergsby, får du en liten promenad för att se de lokala hantverksbutikerna och du har tid för ett förfriskningsstopp.

We had a wonderful tour yesterday with our tour guide Geoff. We drove through some amazing scenery on the island of Crete. We visited an olive oil factory and had a nice traditional Greek lunch. We also had some scenic stops along the way. Geoff was very knowledgeable of the island and shared a lot of the culture, history and agriculture. He also had a great sense of humor. He treated our group to a wonderful day. Best tour since we have been here.

This is the second time that we have done this trip. Gary is a great guide. He had lots of local knowledge and we learned some new facts about some of the local customs. The views were spectacular and the meal was excellent. We will certainly do this trip again on our next trip.

Absolutely fantastic! Gary the GOAT killer is an absolute legend. He made our trip 100 times better - funny, knowledgeable and incredibly entertaining! We visited in May but completely forgot to leave a review until now. The trip was worth every penny, especially with a guide like Gary leading the way! Highly recommend the whole trip!

The journey through the mountains was a fantastic experience from the start. The information provided to us was very detailed. Our dear guide Thomas is simply wonderful. Anyone who books it will not be disappointed; ask for Thomas. The food in a tavern was also excellent and typically Greek.

Booked this via Jet2. An excellent day out and well worth the money. Our driver, Geoff, was extremely knowledgeable as well as professional and personable. The tour included a trip around an olive oil factory and an excellent Cretan lunch. The goats en route were stars, as was “Samson” our Landrover Defender. Geoff picked local wild herbs for us to smell and sample. A great way to learn about the history, culture and cuisine of Crete and explore Crete beyond the northern tourist strip. The trip inspired us to hire a car and explore the south of the island. Thank you!

Loved our Land Rover tour through the Crete countryside and highlands. The tour picked us up where our cruise ship docked. Our driver, Chris, was excellent. Knew a lot about the island including flora and fauna. We had a nice lunch at a taverna and made stops in picturesque villages and scenic spots. We sampled olive oil and the local "moonshine". Crete is really lovely-a great way to get out of the touristy areas to see the countryside.
