I don’t think the value for money is there. The chef herself was really wonderful and warm and provided good insight. Unfortunately, this class started nearly 30 minutes behind and I think for US$95 I expected more hands-on cooking however it’s more of a who would want to help chop who wants to help stir kind of situation. Additionally, the cooking class is a suite within a mall so the space was quite small and I don’t think it really is suited for groups bigger than six. I think this was a fine experience and the food was good. My favorite part was learning how to make brigadero. I don’t think that this is a must do and it surely wasn’t the highlight of my trip. If you’re looking for something to do because the weather is bad I would consider this as an option, but don’t feel that you have to do this. Additionally, I booked the lunch option and I thought we would be preparing fish as a description says, but we still prepared steak so that was a bit disappointing. Overall , I would maybe give it a 6/10 because the chef was nice and I learned a bit more about the foods that I kept seeing at all of Brazilian restaurants.
What a fantastic experience! From start to finish, it was so much fun. Camilla was incredibly down to earth and made the whole cooking experience enjoyable and relaxed. Thank goodness it was a rainy day in Rio, otherwise we would never have tried it! I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Exceptional food and excellent experience! You learn so much about Brazilian food, culture, and history. Would do again. Can’t recommend enough! Come hungry, the portions are generous
The experience was good she incorporated participation from everyone to prepare the meal. She explained where the meal came from and why it’s important in their culture.
Glad there were alternative options for vegans and pescatarians. I love that we learned how to make the drinks.
Amazing! Worth the value, Anna is a great chef.
Fun, great food! The black beans were amazing! OMG! The drinks were out of this world! It was honestly a vibe! 10/10 would recommend!!!
It was great , wonderful experience and really good food
Worth going to learn how to make some classic and modern cocktails. If you like fruity cocktails especially, not to be missed! Camila was a really great guide through this world - lots of knowledge and very informative
Awesome experience. Already recommended to some friends. Very chill and fun experience. Loved the food and grocery experience.
