Privat vingårdstur från Valencia (förmiddagstur)
Beskrivning
Det är en morgontur till vindistriktet Utiel-Requena. Din Guide är en sommelier specialiserad på Valencia viner, som kommer att berätta om vinets historia, om druvsorter och mycket mer! Klockan 9:30 blir ni hämtade; vi åker först till den pittoreska byn Requena, där vi besöker några 800-tals grottor som användes för lagring av spannmål, olja och vin - de gamla lerkrukorna finns fortfarande kvar. Vi gör en första vinprovning där... Härifrån går vi till en vingård nära Utiel; vi går in i vingårdarna och genom vingården, och avslutar med en vinprovning av några av deras viner. Efter vinprovningen åker vi tillbaka till Valencia, där vi borde vara framme vid 14:00. Denna tur kan göras rullstolsanpassad - endast på begäran och i förväg! Om ni är 1 - 2 personer, eller fler än 8, kontakta mig direkt! Upp till 4 personer : Jag använder en liten SUV MG ZS e-fordon, bekväm för 4 normalstora passagerare. Säg till om du känner att du behöver ett större fordon (priset kommer att vara annorlunda).

Dessa är 9-talets grottor som användes för lagring av spannmål, kött och vin; de vackra gamla lerkrukorna finns kvar. Grottorna ligger under husen i byns gamla historiska centrum. Vi gör en kort guidad tur och sedan en första vinprovning.
På denna mycket autentiska vingård från 1800-talet gör vi en guidad tur och besöker vingårdarna, produktionsområdena och fatrummet; efter det får vi smaka på några av deras viner.

My wife and I had an amazing tour of wineries in Utiel-Requena with Johan, who provided door-to-door service from our hotel in Valencia. We started with a walking tour of La Villa de Requena (the Medieval Old Town of Requena), followed by a visit to Bodega Honda in the heart of La Villa. Our next stop was a fun tasting at Bodega Chozas Carrascal followed by lunch (and more wine of course) at Bodega Vera de Estenas. Johan, who is a sommelier, was incredibly knowledgeable about Utiel-Requena wines and provided very informative explanations of all the wines we drank, as well as the wine-making process. If you want to do a winery tour near Valencia, we highly recommend doing it with Johan!

We had a great time with Johan! It was truly a highlight of the trip. My friends and I enjoy drinking wine, but don't know much about it. Johan was knowledgable without being intimidating and had a very good sense of humor about our lack of knowledge. He taught us a lot about the wines but also about the history of the vineyards/towns we visited. We'd do this again in a heart beat.

This was a great experience for our family of 3 young adult sons. None of us are wine experts but we learned so much from our guide, Johan. He covered the basics of wine tasting, he shared his immense knowledge of wine making, and we enjoyed 8 tastings from 2 different wineries. It was a wonderful experience, and we found the history of winemaking in the Requena region fascinating! Again, Johan was fantastic!

As a Sommelier, Johan, was extremely knowledgeable about the different wines as well as the complete wine making process. He was very friendly and seems to have great relationships with the winery and vineyard owners that we visited. If you’re looking to spend half a day learning about and tasting wine grown and made locally in Spain then I highly recommend this tour.
