Med din guide, upptäck det bästa av Provence appellationer och lär dig om druvsorterna Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault ... och den komplexa konsten att blanda. Du kommer att träffa din engelskspråkiga vinekspertguide klockan 9 (annan avgångstid möjlig - definieras med dig efter din bokning) vid kryssningsbrygga i Marseille. Din guide kommer att driva dig i en ren, bekväm & A / C minivan med max 8 personer. Du besöker två vingårdar på morgonen. På varje vingård är besöken privata och pedagogiska och kommer att anpassas till din kunskapsnivå. Nyfiken nybörjare eller kännare är välkomna! Du kommer att gå bakom kulisserna för att lära dig när du besöker vinframställning och de åldrande rummen. Du har gott om tid att ta bilder mitt i vinstockarna och när som helst för att fånga Provence-landsbygden. Under morgonen smakar du några av de finaste roséerna från Provence men också kraftfulla och välbalanserade röda och aromatiska och livliga vita. Din guide kommer att lära dig de olika stegen att gå igenom när du smakar, om det behövs, för att maximera din vinprovning. Du lämnar sedan landskapet och får ungefär 2 timmar ledig tid till lunch och för besök i en av de vackraste städerna från området: den charmiga lilla hamnen i Cassis eller den pittoreska byn Lourmarin eller den livliga och eleganta staden Aix en Provence: Ett bra sätt att prova på det lokala livet, shoppa eller få en förändring för att njuta av den utsökta franska maten tack vare restaurangens rekommendationer från din guide! Du kommer tillbaka till Marseille kryssningshamn runt 16:00 (annan returtid möjlig - definieras med dig efter din bokning) med mycket tid innan din kryssningsfartygs avgångstid. Vi väljer olika typer av vingårdar för att ge dig möjlighet att se olika sätt att arbeta. Vi har utvecklat partnerskap som gör att vi kan ta dig bakom kulisserna: från vinframställning och de åldrande rummen till tappningslinjerna: du kommer att se allt! Din guide förklarar dig också om marken, klimatet, druvsorter, den berömda "terroir" men också plockning, beskärning, grön skörd och många andra ämnen på ett avslappnat och lärorikt sätt.

First off, Jean Gabriel our tour guide was excellent. He was funny and the amount of information was amazing. You can tell he loves wine and enjoys his job. We chose a full day private wine tour. We understood we were going to 2 wineries and then Cassis for lunch. A reservation at Olea was made for us and the food was incredible. Pretty reasonably priced as well. We had 2 hours in Cassis which was plenty. Cassis is amazing. It is so pretty and again the food was incredible! We visited 2 wineries. The winery in the morning was incredible. We got a full tour, met the owner and had a tasting. Tastings are much different than what we were used to in the states. We tasted 3 wines and the portions were true tasting sizes. The wine was incredible. The 2nd winery was after lunch. This was just a tasting, no tour. Seemed like a more commercialized winery. Again, 3 tastings that were only tasting size. We did ask for an additional glass and were provided with another tasting size pour. We wished we would have had time to sit and have a bottle. We didn't necessarily feel rushed at the wineries, but we didn't feel like we were able to enjoy them. For a private wine tour we felt like we should have been given the opportunity to sit, relax and enjoy the wine. The total of 6 tastings between 2 wineries did not feel like enough for the price that we paid. This is a very expensive tour to not have at least 1 bottle of wine included. If a bottle of wine at 1 of the wineries were included then this is a perfect day.
Anya was the best host. She was personable, knowledgeable and gave us the best experience. We are so thankful for this excursion to begin our vacation. It will be hard to beat! Thank you and big thanks to Anya!

We enjoyed a wonderful wine tour with Loris our guide in Provence, visiting two charming local wineries. Loris had an in depth knowledge of wine which was impressive. The tour was a blend of beautiful countryside views, education of regional winemaking, and generous tastings of exceptional rosés, reds, and whites. It was the perfect mix of learning, relaxation, and authentic Provençal atmosphere—this all made for an unforgettable fun day spent in wine country.

We would 100% recommend this tour if you need a cruise ship excursion at the Marseille port! The cost is high but it is definitely worth it! Our guide Eric was extremely knowledgeable about wine and was amazing to talk to. Would recommend opting to do a casual lunch in Aix so you can explore the town a little during your free time!

The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and informative! We were taught many details about the grapes, history, climate and processes, and the wines we sampled at the two vineyards were very delicious! Highly recommended!

Eric Le Rouge was our guide and from pick up to our return home he was exceptional. Profesional, courteous and very knowledgable of the region and of wine. We throughly enjoyed the day. We forgot the stroller and can not than Eric enough for his support of our toddler during the day helping out so we could enjoy the wine tasting experience and stealing the heart of our baby boy and party in the process.
