Alla centrala hotell, hamnar och andra boende i centrala Stockholm, men inte Nynäshamn hamn (om du går in i Nynäshamn, ger vi mötesväg till en hämtningsplats i Stockholms stad) Om din tur avgår från kryssningsbryggan: Om ditt skepp anländer till S165 och S167 STADSGÅRDEN: Var vänlig och gå några hundra meter från ditt skepp när du följer de blå / gröna linjerna. Gå förbi stängslet och vakterna, och din guide kommer att vänta där, med ett tecken som säger "Viking Tours" på ett A4-papper. OBS! Om du anger något annat hamnnummer i STADSGÅRDEN än S165 eller S167, vänligen gå utanför staketet och vakterna och guiden kommer att träffa dig där på resan. Om ditt skepp kommer till F638 FRIHAMNEN: Vid avbarkning av skeppet, gå igenom terminalbyggnaden. När du har gått förbi skjutdörrarna (alla andra som avgår, kommer skeppet att gå ut på detta sätt), kommer guiden att möta dig strax utanför skjutdörrarna. Guiden håller ett A4-papper som säger "Viking Tours". OBS! Om du anger något annat hamnnummer i FRIHAMNEN än F638, vänligen gå utanför stängsel och vakter och guiden kommer träffa dig där på resan. Om ditt skepp kommer till V523 VÄRTAHAMNEN: Gå från ditt skepp mot turistbussarna, som ligger mindre än 10 meter från fartygets skrov. Guiden kommer att vänta på turistbussen, nära bussarna, med ett A4-papper som säger "Viking Tours". Guiden leder dig sedan till resebyrån. OBS! Om du anger något annat hamnnummer i VÄRTAHAMNEN än V523, vänligen gå utanför stängsel och vakter och guiden kommer träffa dig där på resan. Om ditt skepp anländer till NYNÄSHAMN: INGEN PICK UP INCLUDED HÄR. Det beror på att det ligger 50 km från Stockholms centralstation. Vi rekommenderar att du kontaktar och med oss bestämmer en mötesplats i centrala Stockholm. Vi kommer att ge vägbeskrivning hur man åker dit antingen med tåg eller som tar en av kryssningsbussarna som går från hamnen till Stockholm. Om du är osäker på vilken brygga ditt skepp anländer till, var god kontrollera med kryssningslinjen.

A great tour of you want to know the history of the Vikings and see Runes and the Mounds and get the real information about the Vikings. Super informative and a really nice day out in the countryside.
Olof was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the Viking history as well as the general history of the region. We had a great day.
Thanks Olof for getting us to the best spot to view the whole Stockholm, lovely to visit Sigtuna, the oldest settlement of Viking’s and learning the history down our way to Uppsala. A lovely tour with a super knowledgeable & friendly guide.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was great seeing some Swedish countryside as well as the stops included in the itinerary. As it was a private tour, we were also able to add in a visit to Drottingham Palace. Our driver and guide for the day was the amazing Calle. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly (he also did our boat tour the day before). Would definitely recommend Swedish History Tours especially if Calle is the guide.

This was an amazing and educational tour to Sigtuna and Uppsala.Our guide Uhlof (sp?) picked us up on time and gave us a lot of very informative information on the way out of Stockholm and at the sites we visited. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions about the history of the areas we visited.He recommended a place to have lunch in Sigtuna which was delicious . As beautiful and historic as Stockholm is ,I don’t think I would have as good of a sense of Sweden without having taken this excursion. The countryside is gorgeous and the history fascinating. Uhlof spoke excellent English , had a good sense of humor and dropped us off at our hotel at the time he estimated at the start of our tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in Swedish history and getting a look at the Swedish countryside.

This is a completely immersive experience for anyone who wants to separate fact from movie fiction about the history, culture and lore of the Viking age. Our guide was an expert historian with deep knowledge of the Vikings and dozens of fascinating anecdotes and stories that helped us put this period of history into perspective. This tour exceeded expectations and we saw and learned many things at every stop that made this one of our best days traveling.

Charlotte was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the Viking Runes and also Uppsala. She worked with us to accommodate my husband using a cane, so he didn't have to walk as far.

Excellent communication regarding pickup. Calle was informative, interesting, friendly, and flexible. He proposed a plan, but was open to changes. We learned so much, and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!

My friend and I had a great time on our full-day tour with Olof midway through our trip to Stockholm. We enjoyed the chance to see some lovely Swedish countryside and learn more about the Vikings via their runestones. It was fun to visit Sigtuna (where we had a great lunch at a cafe called Valvet, recommended by Olof) and Uppsala, and we particularly liked seeing Uppsala Cathedral and the Viking burial mounds in Gamla Uppsala. Olof was friendly and informative and we felt very comfortable with him. Thanks Olof!
