We absolutely loved every moment of the tour with Dave. He is passionate about the history of York. He told a million stories and showed us as many sites. THEN, unexpectedly, we accidentally met up in the York Minster a few hours later. He asked if we wanted stories about the Minster!! He spent another three hours!!!!! As an unbelievable finale, he took us to our first Evensong which was at the Minster. We are still in awe of such a wonderful day because of this extraordinary and exceptional tour guide.
Dave is a brilliant, entertaining and very knowledgeable guide. Fantastically 2 hour walk but he could have easily done 8 hours.
Amazing! Totally exceeded expectations. Dave’ presentation is faultless and his local knowledge seems infinite. His Yorkshire sense of humour makes for a most engaging experience. I saw a completely different side of York. Thanks Dave!
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding York Minster cathedral. He discussed little known items regarding the stained glass, history and architecture of the cathedral.

Dave is knowledgeable and personable. He introduced us to a few others in the Minster that had authority over the Organ and Choir, a stone mason, a docent. He knows a ton of history. Interesting character - you will enjoy a lively tour.

We had a wonderful tour of York Minster with Dave, he is an engaging and hilarious guide who possesses a wealth of knowledge about the cathedral and city of York. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable experience. If we return to York, we will definitely be signing up to his tour of York city, I wish we'd stayed an extra day so that we could have attended.

Dave our tour guide brought the history of YorkMinister to life, with historical facts , stories and discussions throughout the tour . My friend and I were the only ones on walk around the inside of the Minister , which made the experience extra special . A big thank-you to Dave , he was a joy to listen to and we asked many questions which he answered .
We learned so much about the rich history behind this magnificent cathedral on our private tour of York Minster. Dave was a great guide and shared many fascinating pieces of history from the many eras that shaped the cathedral. He took us on a tour that included the stories behind many of the notable stained glass windows and other notable architectural design elements of the building. It was a great experience.
