En surfstad med massor av karaktär, är Paia det perfekta sättet att sparka igång din resa till Hana. Om din grupp behöver lite energikick kan vi stanna till vid ett av kaféerna i stan och ta en runda kaffe. Alice är Hululand är den perfekta platsen att ta en funky souvenir, eller ta reda på vilken välsmakande tropisk frukt är i säsong på Mana Foods!
En av de mest imponerande vyerna på vägen till Hana, se ut över den lugna byn Wailua och det stora havet bortom. Mot Haleakela bjuds du på ett panorama över Ko'olau Gap, en tät skogbeklädd dal som sträcker sig så långt ögat kan se mot kratern. Se hur många vattenfall du kan räkna kaskad nerför dalväggarna!
En fantastisk svart vulkanisk klippkust som sticker ut i Stilla havets mäktiga vågor är bakgrunden till en glimt av Mauis förflutna. Här i Keʻanae praktiseras fortfarande den traditionella metoden för loʻi kalo (våtmarkstaro). Njut av en limpa av den berömda Tant Sandys bananbröd (som visas på National Geographics Uncharted med Gordon Ramsey!) medan du tittar och lyssnar på de dundrande vågorna som bryter på stranden.
Vill du stryka "simma i ett vattenfall i Hawaii" från din bucket list? Nu har du chansen! Med inte ett, utan TVÅ underbara vattenfall som har naturliga pooler som är idealiska för simning, kan du ta ett dopp i kallt, uppfriskande vatten som rinner direkt från backarna i Haleakela. För de adrenalinsökande i din grupp finns också en säker plats för klipphopp vid ett av vattenfallen här!
Vid det här laget har din besättning förmodligen jobbat upp aptiten! Lyckligtvis, Det finns flera matställen i Hana och utanför stan. För fantastisk vedeldad pizza toppad med grönsaker som odlas direkt på plats, Gårdar är ett bra stopp för både lunch och att plocka ut färska ekologiska råvaror. Det finns också en food truck park i stan med flera alternativ, Braddah Hutt's BBQ Grill strax utanför stan, eller Hana Ranch Restaurant om du känner för Blötlägg i en havsutsikt med din måltid. Efter lunch lastar vi på och tar era grupp till Hana Bay, där du kan njuta av en fantastisk utsikt över Hana Town, och höra om den fascinerande historien i detta område.
Bevittna den häpnadsväckande skönheten på ön ‘Ālau, en fristad för sjöfåglar som dramatiskt slagits av vågor. Njut av utsikten medan du promenerar längs fickorna på den röda sandstranden, och titta ut på Leho‘ula sjöbåge tillbaka mot staden. Farbror Russells Huli Huli Chicken, som finns med på National Geographics Uncharted med Gordon Ramsey, är en utmärkt tallrikslunch att avnjutas vid ett picknickbord med utsikt över detta vackra landskap.
Hamoa Beach är en helt vacker strand som är perfekt för bodysurfing och ligger inbäddat i en ring av klippor som svämmar över av grönska. Mjuk sand rinner hela vägen ner i det kristallklara vattnet, så att hela familjen kan njuta av vågorna utan att oroa sig för stenar!
Ho’okipa Beach Park är en minnesvärd avslutning på din äventyrsdag och har en av de bästa vyerna med utsikt över Northshore Maui i solnedgången. Se surfarna fånga massiva vågor på en av de mest kända och eftertraktade surfing pauser i världen. Och sedan för djurälskare i din grupp, är detta en fantastisk plats att se Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles! De älskar att samlas i ett hörn av stranden precis under en plattform perfekt för att visa och ta några bilder.

Amazing private tour to Hana! A must do!! We had an awesome day today with Eugene! He showed us some of the most beautiful and unique (non-tourist) spots. We will remember this trip forever!

If the Road to Hana is on your list of things to do in Maui, why not sit back in a spacious and clean SUV and let Nick do the driving. The day we spent with Nick felt like sharing our trip with a very knowledgeable, fun and personal friend. Nick and Ohana tours communication before and during our trip was seamless. This was an amazing experience for our entire family and I highly recommend it!!! Travis was the best guide, and the coolest part was how the day was adapted to our family as Travis got to know us. The communication before and during was everything you would hope for when you are looking for a customizable, 5 star experience. I had been to Maui before and always wondered about the Hana experience. We brought our 8, 11, 14, and 15 year olds and they all said at the end of our trip that this was their favorite day of the entire trip! We loved the balance between car time and getting out to explore. It’s an incredible way to experience the beauty of the island from amazing trees (which we loved learning really cool details about from Travis), waterfalls, caves, and beaches. They provided everything- towels for after we all jumped a waterfall, all kinds of waters and snacks. Super flexible stops if a kid needed a restroom, changed their mind about a food truck, or wanted to listen to their music playlist. We did all wear ear patches before to help with any motion sickness and didn’t have any problems. We had other family members I recommended to also book with them and we will absolutely do this again bc there are so many different places to stop and explore!

This was the most amazing experience! The owner Eugene picked us up at our hotel, and took us to the office where we met our tour guide, Travis, who was amazing. A full day private tour getting to do what we wanted how we wanted! Travis was so friendly it was like touring with a friend, he got to know what we liked and took us to the most beautiful places plus food stops that fit our preferences! The price was unbeatable for such a custom experience, highly reccomend this to anyone looking for a private tour for a good price!

I have no words really, although we did see everything on the description, it was basically a driving tour with many winding roads. Hana itself was nothing to see. Black sand beach wasn’t a beach as one might expect, it was lava rock and really no place to swim. Although tour guide was knowledgeable, we felt his driving was a bit erratic at times and he took us to places that were closed. Waterfalls were not swimable. Wasted 8 hrs in a car was the end result. It would have been much better renting a car and going on our own. If you are considering the road to Hana, rethink it. It’s in our opinion a wasted trip.
Great day with Nick on the road to Hana. Well organized trip with detailed communication on pick up and things to know before the excursion. The ride was comfortable with ample bathroom stops if needed. Nick was well knowledge about historical Maui, island customs as well as flora/ plants native to the area. We hit all the highlights along the way, stopping at waterfalls, beautiful beaches, and killer views. Midway through, we stopped for banana bread, a must diversion! Had lunch in an area full of food trucks, a great way to catch the local vibe. Doing a private tour is a great way to customize your experience!

Eugene was awesome. Showed us everything we wanted to see, gave us insight on almost every nook and cranny of the road, stopped and got wild fruit from trees for us to taste, stopped when and where we wanted, and even took us to some off the beaten path places that he visits himself that no one else was around to see (and it was a busy road where people were at most every stop). He definitely made sure to help us get the most out of our trip. He even took us around the mountain instead of backtracking from Hana, which was just as beautiful in its own way. Would highly recommend this excursion.

We had such an incredible experience with Nick as our guide. He’s incredibly knowledgable about all the plants along the road to Hana and also knew a ton about the history of the region. Our favorite stop was a secluded waterfall that other tourists didn’t know about, so we had it all to ourselves.
