Om du är i Catania, eller om du kommer från en kryssning till terminalen, kan du spendera en dag med oss på 5 - 6 timmar, för en oförglömlig utflykt! Föraren hämtar dig på den plats du angett, även om det inte nämns i upphämtningslistan. Riktning Savoca ca 1 timme, berömd stad vald av regissören Francis Ford Coppola för att spela in några scener av den berömda Oscar-vinnande filmen The Godfather. Stanna vid Vitelli bar för ett foto och rundtur i den lilla pittoreska staden. Vi fortsätter till Taormina, en charmig stad som kallas Medelhavets pärla, med sin unika grekisk-romerska teater, (ingång ingår ej) de karakteristiska gränderna, dekorerade med souvenirer, barer och typiska sicilianska klubbar. Turen börjar med upphämtning på ditt hotell eller vid kryssningsterminalen i Catanias hamn. Vi tillhandahåller både bilar och minivans beroende på förfrågan och antal deltagare. Från Catania åker vi till Taormina (ca 50 km), vi besöker den grekiska teatern självständigt, till fots fortsätter vi till Palazzo Corvaja, belvederen, Corso Umberto med sina karakteristiska gator fulla av typiska butiker och souvenirer. Turen fortsätter mot Savoca ca 20 km, en liten uppflugen by, där några scener av filmen "gudfadern" av Francis Ford Coppola spelades in. I denna turné på begäran av kunden har du möjlighet att besöka Castelmola, en medeltida stad ovanför Taormina, istället för Savoca.
Savoca är ett land med tusen attraktioner även om det i verkligheten är en liten by i provinsen Messina med 1750 invånare. Den ligger uppe på berget men erbjuder också mycket för turister som besöker den. Den badas av strömmarna Agrò och Savoca och är en konststad som ingår i kretsen av "De vackraste byarna i Italien". I den här byn spelades scener in "Gudfadern", den framgångsrika filmen av Francis Ford Coppola, inspelad 1972. I have been using viator for years and I have never had an experience like this. Every other tour I have ever done has been amazing and perfect in so many ways EXCEPT this one. Do not and I repeat, DO NOT book this tour. We were scheduled to be picked up in the morning and no one showed up. We tried contacting the tour operator and no response (very unprofessional). I contacted support at viator and they tried calling, emailing and messaging the tour operators multiple times and NO RESPONSE. If you're looking for a tour you can rely on this is not the tour for you.
Good morning, we have already apologized through Viator, but your reservation never arrived, so if you have someone to blame, blame Viator, not us. If you had called a couple of days in advance or sent a WhatsApp or a confirmation email since you had our contact information, we could have helped you. Technology is good for the community, but a confirmation message would have been better. We have cecked mobile and office phone , no contact from you or viator . we receive just an e mail on 30 december at 9.30 AM with refund request

Taormina and Savoca was spectacular. Very beautiful and a lot of restaurants and stores to visit in Taormina and a very incredible Greek theater from old times. The guide was very good and explain in detail the highlights of what we were visiting.

Salvo was the most amazing tour guide, he taught us so much information about the region and in particular Mt Etna. He also recommended the most amazing seafood lunch destination in Taormina which had both excellent food and postcard views. The town & walk around tour of Savoca where part of the godfather was filmed was also a highlight & a place we would love to visit again.
