Den bergsbelysta sjön Sevan är "Armeniens pärla". Sjön Sevan - belägen på en höjd av 1 900 m över havet i centrum av den armeniska höglandet, 63 km nordost om den armenska huvudstaden i Jerevan och är den största av Kaukasus sjöar. Sevan är från alla håll omgivet av bergskedjor och erbjuder en fantastisk utsikt över alpin. Sjön är känd för sitt renaste färskvatten och ren bergsluft har en positiv hälsoeffekt.
Klosterkomplexet Sevanavank ligger på halvön Sevan. År 305 grundades den av St. Gregory Illuminator, som byggde kyrkan på platsen för ett hedniskt tempel. På 9: e århundradet gjorde syskonens furstar en uppgift för Sevan. I 874 byggde hustrun till Syunikprinsen Vassak och dottern till kungen Ashot Bagratuni - Mariam här två kyrkor - St. Arakeloc och St. Astvatcatcin. De är rika på olika trähuggade huvudstäder, en av vilka hålls i Armeniens statliga historiska museum och i konstgalleriet i St Petersburg (Hermitage). 1869 öppnade en andlig skola i komplexet. På toppen av öns berget bevaras resterna av kyrkan med en kupolhal. Klostret är rik på khachqars (korsstenar).

Amazing driver and your leader. We went to lake Sevan full day tour. Had fresh fish from the lake for lunch. On the way stopped at the ski resort.

Very friendly tour guide and very professional driver. We got good grasp of Armenia. At day 2 when we had limited time ,the operator shall have told us to staty earlier to see the places. Instead we proposed that and even then we did not manage to see 100% but close to 90%.

I am obsessed with the service I have received here. They made me love Armenia. Our guide was a very nice woman who spoke about the country with such a love, that I started to love the country even more. The girls in the office helped me find some must visit places in Armenia. I mostly admired blue Sevan. This country has a huge history and need more companies like JAN. Our driver was a real professional with English speaking skills, so he could communicate with us. In their company I felt like I'm with my friends.

Hi everyone, we were in Armenia for a week, in May. Originally we were with another tour guide company, and our holidays was going to became a disaster , but this guys saved it literally. We come across with them by accident, but they helped us, took us for a few sightseeings. We were even able to make choice of places we wanted to visit and combine them as we liked.
