Very disappointed with our tour ! . Our driver went to the wrong hotel , transportation was an uncomfortable sedan with very strong smell inside not a luxury minivan as promised! No bottles of fresh water as promised! It was not a tour , just a simple cab ride drop off with no instructions or guidance .
Hi dear Roskelley, first of all we sent a new and very luxury full optional MB sedan car as you were just 2 people! Bottles were just sparkling but driver asked to you he could buy some natural and you said no! He talked a lot about places you were but you were not interested at all and very unpolite with him. Our tour are private but no guided tours, if you wanted one of them you have to book the right one with a guide in loco. He suggested where to have lunch and you let him reserved but you did not go there!!! As regard the hotel you made an error in the booking putting 2 different hotels and did not re confirmed the day before the tour as required in the details. I cannot speak highly enough of Simone and Chianti Drivers! I would definitely recommend him! He is so knowledgeable about Tuscany, not just the Pisa/Lucca area, and it is a joy to listen him share this knowledge!! Not to mention he is super handsome and kind! By the end of the day we felt we had made an amazing new friend and were lovingly referring to him as “the Tuscan silver fox”!

Seeing Pisa for me was a “bucket list” item which I didn’t get to do the last 2 times I was in Florence so I decided to treat myself and my family with this private tour. It was well worth it! Simone was terrific, giving us information throughout our drive to Pisa and Lucca. At each stop we had time to explore at our own pace which was great. He booked us a terrific lunch in the countryside in between stops that caters mostly to locals. Great food and atmosphere. Overall an experience I would highly recommend…thanks Simone!

Simone was a great driver and very knowledgeable in all of the areas. He took us to a lovely country restaurant that was delicious. Lucca was beautiful and we were able to see the sites we wanted to see. Pisa was very charming and we had sufficient time to wander around. Highly recommended!

We met our wonderful driver, Massimo, when he came to pick us up at our apartment. From the start he was very friendly and personable. He was born and raised in Florence and has a lot of knowledge about the Tuscany area. He also speaks very good English. We loved hearing his stories about the different experiences he's had while driving visitors around. We decided to spend about 50 minutes seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Field of Miracles in Pisa. We really wanted to spend most of our day in Lucca. We were happy with this choice. When we arrived in Lucca it was lunch time and Massimo walked us straight through Lucca to an area he recommended for lunch. It was a great choice, we had one of our best meals in Italy here. Next we rented bikes and road them around the beautiful city walls, an absolute must when visiting Lucca! We had just enough time left to do a little shopping as we walked back to meet back up with Massimo. We highly recommend this tour, we loved having a private tour because we got to engage in conversations with Massimo and get to know him and we could spend the day as we wished. Highly recommend!
