I den nordvästra delen av Sevan-sjön, på en smal klippig halvö, står det ett av de mest framträdande exemplen på medeltida armeniska arkitekturen - Sevanavank-klostret. Det grundades år 874 e.Kr. av prinsessan Mariam.
I 13 km nordost om Dilijan i ett mysigt ställe kan man hitta klosterkomplexet Haghartsin ("Eagle of Dance"). Det byggdes mellan 10 och 13 århundraden och har tre kyrkor.

We had a great time using this company to go around Sevan and Dilijan. We had great service and the driver always tried to make sure we were comfortable & kept asking if we wanted to stop anywhere along the way.
