Strax efter upphämtning på ditt boende kl. 9:00 av en privat reseguide/chaufför i ett privat fordon, ger vi oss iväg på en all-inclusive, heldagstur till Cape Winelands till Stellenbosch och Franschhoek, känd som American Express Wine Sydafrikas väg. Följ vinvägarna Stellenbosch och Franschhoek i all sin prakt. Du kommer att njuta av vinprovning på upp till 4 noggrant utvalda prisbelönta vingårdar, där alla vinprovningsavgifter ingår, och kommer också att njuta av en varmrättslunch på en av dessa prisbelönta vingårdar.
När vi anländer till Stellenbosch kommer vi att njuta av en stadsorienteringstur. Stellenbosch är den näst äldsta staden i Sydafrika och hem till mer än 200 prisbelönta vingårdar.
Vårt första vinprovningsstopp kommer att vara på Delaire Graff Wine Estate. Delaire Graff, känd som juvelen i Cape Winelands, är inte bara känd för sina prisbelönta viner, utan också för sina spektakulära vyer och fotomöjligheter på Instagram. Här kommer du att smaka på 5 premiumviner från ett urval av 6 viner. Din guide hjälper dig att ta de vackraste Instagram-bilderna. Delaire Graff är en lyxig och modern vingård.
Från vingården Delaire Graff kör vi i 5 minuter till Tokara vingård. Här kommer vi att smaka på upp till 4 noggrant utvalda premiumviner. Tokara är en lyxig och modern vingård.
Därefter kör vi i 20 minuter till Delheim Wine Estate. Vi kommer att njuta av en varmrättslunch med förstklassig vinprovning på Delheim Garden Restaurant med utsikt över de grönskande trädgårdarna. Välj din huvudrätt bland ett urval av kött, fågel, fisk eller vegetariska alternativ. Observera att endast huvudrätten ingår i vårt turnépris för endast gäster som bokat och betalar för vin- och lunchalternativet och får inte överstiga R275,00 per person. Skulle du överskrida detta belopp kommer extrakostnaden att stå för din egen räkning. Ytterligare viner, läsk och/eller andra rätter från menyn tillkommer och för din egen räkning. Skulle Delheim Estate vara stängt av någon anledning kommer vinprovning och lunch att avnjutas på Muratie Wine Estate, en av de äldsta vingårdarna i landet, som har producerat prisbelönta viner i mer än 300 år.
Turnén fortsätter med ett vinprovningsstopp på en av de mest populära vinprovningsdestinationerna i Cape Winelands, känd som Fairview Wine Estate. Här kommer vi att smaka på upp till 6 sorters vin tillsammans med 6 noggrant utvalda ostsorter, allt från röda och vita sorter.
Ett valfritt stopp kommer att erbjudas framför Drakenstein Correctional Center (tidigare Victor Verster Prison) för att ta ett foto med Nelson Mandela-monumentet.
Vår turné avslutas med en bilresa genom staden Franschhoek, känd som Sydafrikas mat- och vinhuvudstad. Det är hem för några av de finaste restaurangerna och vingårdarna i landet.

The wine in Stellenbosch is spectacular and the wineries are all very picturesque. On this tour the guide took us to each winery and agreed a pick up time. Everything was clear and well communicated.

This tour did not meet the expectations set by the description of a luxury wine tour. When you book and pay for a wine tour, you expect a knowledgeable guide who can speak intelligently about the wines — varietals, winemaking techniques, terroir, and tasting characteristics. Instead, we received a general history lesson about the region. While history has its place, that is not what we signed up for. We visited three wineries (by choice), and it’s difficult to see how more could reasonably be included. In reality, this felt like hiring a driver for the day rather than participating in a professionally curated wine experience. We could have arranged private transportation ourselves, chosen our own wineries, and likely received better value. The advertised “wine and cheese pairing” was also misrepresented. A true pairing is intentional — specific wines matched with specific cheeses to enhance both. What we received appeared to be a random selection, with no explanation or thoughtful curation. Given the cost, we expected expertise, structure, and authenticity. What was delivered did not justify the premium price. The only thing luxury about it was how much it cost. Also, I don’t blame the driver I blame the person profiting from this hack of a tour.

If the tour felt more like transportation than a professionally curated wine experience, we understand your disappointment. Regarding the winery visits, our intention is always to create a relaxed and well-paced day. However, the value of a luxury experience must come from expertise, structure, and intentional curation — not simply logistics. If that depth and structure were not delivered, we take that concern seriously. We also appreciate your comments about the wine and cheese pairing. A true pairing should be deliberate and clearly explained, highlighting how specific wines and cheeses complement one another. If what was presented lacked intention or explanation, that falls short of the standard we aim to uphold. We regret that the experience did not justify the premium price in your view. Your feedback is important and will be used to carefully evaluate and improve how this tour is presented and delivered moving forward.

The tour guide Gordon was on time, very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. The wine facilities visited were a good choice with a wide variety of products, and the personnel were all extremely knowledgeable of their wines. We had a great day trying 20 wines in 4 different vineyards, with time to wander around Stellenbosch and a lunch stop in Franschhoek. Superb views and Morne our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would certainly recommend if you want to dip into the local wines and have someone else drive!
