Fantastic. We got a really good guide who showed us around the area and could answer all questions. Both related to the guide itself, but also more recent information about Lyon. I would recommend this to everyone who comes to Lyon, really a great experience
Romain was excellent! On time, spoke excellent English, was professional and personable, and has a remarkable store of historical and cultural knowledge about the Basilica, the Celts, the local and regional Roman presence, the founding of Lyon, the Roman Theatre and Odeon, Lyon’s silk trade, and more! My wife and I booked a private tour due to mobility issues (we walk slowly). Romain was considerate thereof in his pace and routing. One of our best ever tour guides.

Romain was an amazing tour guide of the private tour of Lyon. He had a vast knowledge of the town of Lyon and even showed my husband to get the best France soap to take back to our friends in the US. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to tour the lovely town of Lyon.

We had an incredible afternoon with our guide Romain. He was incredibly knowledgeable and presented the information in a relatable, entertaining and digestible manner. We got a great balance of the history and modern context. Besides touring the Basilica and Roman ruins, we were shown the old Lyon streets, secret passage ways, churches and other points of interest. We concluded our afternoon with an amazing lunch he recommended. Thanks so much Romain! It was an informative and memorable day we will cherish long after we leave Lyon.
