Vi tar er genom den underbara staden Muscat där vi först besöker den stora moskén som, bland ett par andra, är en av de största handgjorda iranska mattan i världen. Mattan väger hela 21 ton och rymmer bekvämt upp till 20 000 tillbedjare. Sultan Qaboos stora moskén är nära om det är fredag (för fredag bön) precis utanför för Photo Stop Only.
Vi kommer att köra dig runt ministerierna och området Royal Opera House som är ledande konst- och kulturorganisation i Sultanatet Oman. Operahusets vision är att fungera som ett spetskompetens inom globalt kulturellt engagemang (Royal Opera är stängt om det är fredag - bara fotostopp)
Bait Al Zubair är ett museum, beläget på Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman. Museet har en omfattande samling av antika vapen, inklusive khanjar, hushållsutrustning och kostymer. Utanför museet finns en fullskalig omansk by och souk
Denna strand ligger i Al Qurm-området i hjärtat av Muscat och sträcker sig över ett stort område. Den här stranden anses vara en av de mest trafikerade i Muscat på grund av dess läge nära köpcentra och restauranger, men det kommer endast att vara ett fotostopp.
Muttrah Souk är nästa, där du kan hitta olika souvenirer och Muttrah Souk en av de äldsta marknadsplatserna i Oman med anor tvåhundra år tillbaka i tiden
Al Alam Palace "Flaggans palats" är ett palats som ligger i Old Muscat, Oman. Det användes som ett ceremoniellt palats av Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. En av monarkens sex sultanbostäder, har en historia på över 200 år, och byggdes under överinseende av Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, den sjunde direkta farfar till Sultan Qaboos.
Endast Al Jalali Fort Photo Stop. Al Jalali Fort, eller Ash Sharqiyah Fort, är ett fort i hamnen i Old Muscat, Oman. Fortet byggdes av portugiserna under Filip I av Portugal på 1580-talet för att skydda hamnen efter att Muscat två gånger hade plundrats av osmanska styrkor. Det föll till omanska styrkor 1650. Under inbördeskrigen mellan 1718 och 1747 erövrades fortet två gånger av perser som hade bjudits in att hjälpa en av de rivaliserande imamerna. Fortet byggdes omfattande om senare.
Endast Al Mirani Fort Photo Stop. Fort Al-Mirani är ett fort, ursprungligen byggt av portugiserna, i hamnen i staden Old Muscat, Oman.

Muscat is a beautiful city. This is our first day in Oman but from the experience so far. Looks like it's highly underrated. The city is beautiful, clean, peaceful good food . Our tour guide Hamood from Oman Landscapes has been good , very helpful and informative so far. He speaks very good english too. So so far so good. We are here for another 5 days. Will keep updating my experiences here.

The history and the culture of the city is so rich and beautifully explained by Hamood! You can go see the sights on your own, which are beautiful. But the guided tour gives you a much deeper appreciation for the city.

We had a wonderful Muscat city tour with our guide, Khalid. He made the experience extremely fun and engaging, and his knowledge about the city, its history, and all the landmarks was truly impressive. Khalid also recommended an excellent restaurant, Rosanna, for our lunch—which turned out to be a perfect choice. Overall, it was a great day and we highly recommend Khalid for anyone visiting Muscat!

We had a Tour of Muscat City with Said as our tour guide. We visited the best part of the city in a relaxed manner. A perfect and pleasant way get oriented with the alluring and unusual charming city of Muscat, Oman. Said was an amazing guide. We had Saif as our guide and he was amazing in showing us Muscat and various famous spots but most importantly taking time to explain a lot of things and answering all our questions. We were fascinated by the architecture and the stories behind the buildings and would always recommend this tour over a shorter one as it will give you sufficient time to properly explore and learn about Oman and Muscat.
