Kör dig sedan runt ministerierna och området Royal Opera House som är ledande konst- och kulturorganisation i Oman. Operahusets vision är att fungera som ett spetskompetens inom globalt kulturellt engagemang. Besök sedan Qurum Beach Photo Stop och vi tar dig för att smaka på det omanska brödet med honung och karak-te. Muttrah Souk är nästa, där du kan hitta olika souvenirer och Muttrah Souq en av de äldsta marknadsplatserna i Oman, efter att vi kommer att visa dig Al Alam-palatset, hans majestäts officiella palats. Klockan 8:30 tar vi er genom den underbara staden Muscat där vi först besöker Stora moskén som bland annat är en av de största handgjorda iranska mattan i världen. Mattan väger hela 21 ton och rymmer bekvämt upp till 20 000 tillbedjare. Strax. (Klädkod för den stora moskén: Män och kvinnor måste bära långärmade långbyxor och damer måste täcka håret)
Vi kommer att köra dig runt ministerierna och området Royal Opera House som är ledande konst- och kulturorganisation i Sultanatet Oman. Operahusets vision är att fungera som ett spetskompetens inom globalt kulturellt engagemang.
Besök sedan Qurum Beach Photo Stop och vi tar dig för att smaka på det omanska brödet med honung och karak-te.
Fortsätt sedan köra till Muttrah Souk är nästa, där du kan hitta olika souvenirer och Muttrah Souq en av de äldsta marknadsplatserna i Oman som går tillbaka två hundra år.

- Stora moskén är öppen dagligen från 08:00 till 11:00 och den är stängd på fredagar. Om din bokning är mellan 11:00 och 16:00, kommer vi bara att kunna göra ett fotostopp utanför, tillsammans med en kort förklaring.

This tour was fantastic from door to door. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is very impressive, the Royal Opera House surprisingly interesting for it's beauty and engineering feats (well worth the entry fee, the local guide here was terrific). Photo stops at the beach and Al Alam Palace were appreciated and our shopping excursion to Mutrah Souq was highly enjoyable. All of these landmarks were great to see but the morning was elevated by our wonderful guide Saif. Knowledge shared with obvious passion for his country and our many questions respectfully answered. Patiently took photos for us and provided us with an excellent lunch recommendation. Thank you Saif. You truly made our day and we hope to see you again.

Said guided us for 4hrs through the main views of Muscat, sharing a lot of knowledge amd information. If you have a long stopover I would definitely recommend to contact them for this tour. If tou don't have such a long stop over, plan to have it so you can experience the hospitality :)

Our trip with Khalid was literally amazing from beginning to end! He is such a kind, friendly, and professional guide, and he made our experience in Muscat truly unforgettable. We visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Al Alam Palace, several beautiful forts and historical monuments, and of course Mutrah Souq. Every place we visited was absolutely beautiful, but what made the experience even more special was having Khalid with us. Khalid is incredibly knowledgeable about Oman. Khalid made what could have been a standard city tour into one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment we met, he had a calm, welcoming presence that immediately put me at ease. He’s soft-spoken, genuinely kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Muscat, Oman, Islam, and the broader Middle East. No question was off limits. Whether it was history, religion, culture, or current events, he answered thoughtfully and honestly without ever making the conversation feel rushed. During the tour we visited the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, explored the Mutrah Souq, saw the Al Alam Palace, and even drove into the mountains for a completely different perspective of the city. Along the way, Khalid introduced me to Omani coffee, dates, sweets, and local traditions, making the experience feel authentic rather than scripted. What stood out most was how personal the day felt. I never felt like I was being rushed from one attraction to the next. Instead, it felt like spending the day with a local friend who genuinely wanted to share his country, his culture, and a glimpse into his own life. This half day tour of Muscat was perfect to see the main attractions in just 4 hours. Pickup and return at the hotel were smooth and right on time. Vehicle was comfortable and my guide Nasr was fantastic! Nasr gave me all the essentials about the beautiful sites we visited and we even chatted about the World Cup and football in general. Nasr also kindly took many pictures during the tour and then sent them to me. I highly recommend Nasr and this tour.
