Efter lunch (egen bekostnad), besök Taffelberget och njut av ledig tid på Bo-Kaap, ett område känt för sina färgglada hus och Cape Malay-kultur.

Vi börjar denna fantastiska upplevelse med en upphämtning från ditt hotell cirka 08:00 på väg till Nelson Mandela Gateway till Robben Island för en 3 till 4-timmars upplevelse för att se var Nelson Mandela och så många andra civila, politiker fängslades under Apartheidregimen. Hoppa över kön för att köpa biljetter eftersom denna turné kommer att ha din förbokade biljett i förväg. Observera att Robben Island Museum förbehåller sig rätten att avbryta en given turné efter eget gottfinnande. Vid avbokning har du rätt till full återbetalning eller möjlighet att boka om. Din guide-chaufför kommer inte att eskortera dig till ön eftersom de har sina egna guider. Du kommer att vara på båten med andra människor. Du kommer att få en fullständig rundtur av en före detta fånge.
Du kommer att ha en 15 minuters stopp för en fotomöjlighet i Bo-Kaap (De färgglada husen).
Strax efter att du har återvänt från din Robben Island Tour-upplevelse kommer vi att tillåta dig att ta en smörgås eller lättare lunch för egen räkning på en närliggande restaurang. Härifrån kör vi till linbanestationen, där du får din returbiljett av din Guide. Guiden eskorterar dig för maximal upplevelse. Härifrån släpper vi av dig vid din bostad i Kapstaden.

There was nothing wrong with the arrangements and the pick up, but the Island tour was cancelled at short notice due to bad weather and the mountain tour was cancelled due to a fire in an electric car battery in their garage. We can’t really fault the arrangements but we can’t comment on the tours.

Jean-Marie was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. Table Mountain was closed, so that was disappointing, but he suggested Kirstenbosch Gardens instead and provided an excellent tour of the gardens as a substitute.

What an easy and interesting travel day! Jean-Marie was our guide and he picked us up and dropped us off right from our hotel! He had so much energy, excitement, enthusiasm, that you couldn’t help but get super excited for the day. We began with a trip to robben island where we took the ferry and then explored the island on a guided bus tour and then got to have a tour of the prison told by a guide who was formerly imprisoned on the island! Fascinating! Then we opted to shop instead of eat lunch and Jean-Marie was happy to accommodate! Then we traveled up to table mountain on the cable car and just as we were about to leave the clouds parted and we were able to see the majestic sights of Cape Town! Truly an amazing tour and we felt very well taken care of!

What a great guide we had. My first ever guided tour with my partner. I had a fantastic tour with a very skillful and cool guide. I truly recommend them whenever you visit cape town, you won't regret it.
When we booked the Tour I read all the reviews previously and it was clear that guide Jean-Marie was Loved by all- so I was very excited when he was our guide-without a doubt he now has two new people that love him!! Jean-Marie’s Excellent knowledge of Cape Town and all the area from historical, folklore, flora, present day Definitely made the trip interesting and was so appreciated but the Most important aspect of guide Jean- Marie was his authentic caring and great heart which enabled us to have of our BEST experience ever with a tour guide-You could see his joy in making sure that all our needs and special requests were met-He definitely goes more than the distance and lived up to all Positives in his reviews -PLUS +++++Zion/Viator You have a sparkling Gem in Jean-Marie!!!!!
Great views from the Mountain and Robben Island tour by ex-political prisoners who endured such harsh and torture was very moving and hopefully the world will never forget.
This is not a private tour and should not be advertised as such. We were picked up by a guide who esstially dropped us off at the docks. The tour to Robben Island was delayed, due to technical difficulties so we spent at 1-1.5 hours waiting. We were told by our guide that we would be met by a guide like him on the island. When we arrived that was not the case. We were just part of the general tour. We called our guide and he assured us that the rest of the tour was "private". Upon returning from Robben Island our guide drove us to Table Mountain, rode with us to the top, should us a model of the mountain, a picture of an animal and said he would meet us back at the tram to depart. Besides picking us up and getting our tickets in advance, this was not a private tour. His manner was very abrupt and I often felt like we were an inconvenience to his day.
