Privat heldagstur i Girona GOT och Costa Brava

Se några av inspelningsplatserna för "Game of Thrones" i Gironas gamla stad och bli förtrollad av skönheten i den medeltida byn Pals och fiskebyn Calella de Palafrugell. Du blir hämtad från ditt hotell i Barcelona och reser i ett luftkonditionerat fordon till Girona där din rundvandring i staden börjar. Se klostret Sant Pere de Galligants, katedralen Santa Maria och de judiska kvarteren. Därefter beger vi oss till den medeltida byn Pals där du bör prova en risgryta till lunch innan vi promenerar genom dess historiska romanska centrum. Sista stoppet för dagen är vid den vackra fiskebyn Calella de Palafrugell på Costa Bravas strand, där du kan simma i det klara vattnet, njuta av solen eller ta en promenad längs stranden.

Kör från Barcelona till Girona (70 minuter). Se lejonets pelare och utsidan av Sant Feliu-kyrkan där legenden om "Sant Narcis och flugorna" dyker upp och få detaljer om Gironas lokala hjältar Sant Narcis och Sant Feliu (20 minuter).
Från kyrkan Saint Feliu börjar vi en promenad till klostren Sant Pere Galligants och domarnas torg, där vi ser några av inspelningsplatserna för Game of Thrones. Härifrån korsar vi promenad längs stadsmuren på väg mot katedralen.
Efter att ha korsat stadsportarna kommer vi till katedralen Santa María, tidigare romerskt tempel och viktig inspelningsplats för Game of Thrones. Promenad av de judiska kvarteren ner till Pujada de San Domenech.
Vi korsar floden Onyar och ser de färgglada husen byggda längs floden. Detta är den obligatoriska selfieplatsen.
Kör till den medeltida byn Pals (40 minuter) där du har möjlighet att äta oförglömliga ris- och skaldjursrätter. Efter lunch tar vi en promenad i den fantastiska historiska stadskärnan med dess fästning, kyrkan Sant Pere och timmarnas torn.
Dags att koppla av och njuta av Costa Bravas fantastiska landskap och Medelhavets charm i före detta fiskebyn Calella de Palafrugell. Bada gärna i kristallklart vatten när temperaturerna tillåter det.

We spent A wonderful time with Andres he show everything and more and told us a lot of history of the place I recommend him if you want to see all the monuments with history
Andre was so knowledgeable and kind. He taught us a lot of information about Girona, and he knew the best spot for a lunch break in Pals. We truly enjoyed our time with him!
Can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour and would not hesitate to recommend it! Our entire family had a great time!
Andre is so so knowledgeable on all subjects. He was like a walking Wikipedia and taught us not only things about the sights but current events, world history, fashion and so much more. He is very kind. And we enjoyed the places he showed us very much. Know that the tour doesn’t include entry to the churches in Girona but getting the history from outside. There was 40 min of free time. Tour from 8:30am-7pm and is a very leisurely pace.
So many beautiful places to see and learn about - loved every minute and Andre was the perfect guide! Thank you for a wonderful day!!
We had a great, full day with Andre. He arrived at 8:30 AM and kindly dropped us to our dinner restaurant at 8:00 PM! During our drive to Girona, Andre provided a detailed history lesson of the region, conflicts, and power struggles that he then referenced throughout the day. Girona and Pals were scenic and interesting. Short time in Costa Brava, which was stunning. Andre was flexible, let him know your interests. Thank you Andre.
Andre was awesome, calm and knowledgeable. We had a great time touring around Girona and the Cataluna coast. From music, to photography, to social media, to tourism, to football to history we pretty much covered everything. Ah, yes, we also stopped at local cafes and fantastic ‘Arroz’ restaurant where we had delicious lunch. If you are looking for a day-trip from Barcelona don’t look elsewhere - Andre got you covered! As a great ‘foodie’ he also gave us excellent recommendations in Barcelona.
Andre was punctual and friendly. He is knowledgeable in the history of the places that he brings us to. Had a relaxed breakfast and lunch. Tour was almost 11 hrs by the time we get back to the hotel.
Guide spoke English and did a good job showing us around. We were picked up from the hotel at 8:30am and got back at 6pm. Good information. We saw the places where Game Of Throne scenes were filmed. Over all good experience and value. I would highly recommend it.
My husband and I really enjoyed our full-day tour to Girona, Pals, and Palsfugell with André. Communication with André before the tour was excellent, pick-up at our hotel was prompt, and his SUV was very comfortable. On the drive to Girona, André gave us lots of information about the history of Barcelona and of Catalonia. When we arrived at Girona, we first stopped at a café for cappuccinos, and then started the walking tour of the historical part of the city. André showed us the important sites, and explained the historical importance. He also had video clips from the Game of Thrones, showing the exact spots where scenes from the series were filmed. After Girona, we drove to Pals, where we first had lunch. We enjoyed the lunch special of salad, a seafood rice casserole (like paella), a dessert, and a drink. After lunch, André gave us a walking tour of the charming medieval town. Afterwards, we drove to the seaside town of Palafugell where my husband and I enjoyed free time exploring the beach area. André is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, of the Catalonia region, of the places we visited, and of the world in general. He also talked to us about contemporary life in Barcelona today and in the towns we visited. It was wonderful to spend the day with such a knowledgeable local resident!
