Resplan

We were really looking forward to our guided tour of Sagrada Família, but unfortunately we weren’t able to participate. Due to major traffic delays caused by the Tour de France, we arrived too late to meet the group. We also felt that the meeting instructions could have been much clearer beforehand, which might have helped us find the guide in time despite the unexpected traffic. We’re disappointed we missed what I’m sure would have been an incredible experience, as Sagrada Família is such an amazing landmark. Hopefully we’ll have another opportunity to book this tour on a future visit. Better luck next time!
Great time enjoying the cathedral in and out!
We started our morning in Barcelona with a small group tour of Sagrada Família, and it was the perfect way to experience this incredible landmark. Our guide, Albert, was absolutely wonderful. His passion for the basilica and his extensive knowledge of its history, architecture, and the vision of Antoni Gaudí made every moment fascinating. Albert shared details and symbolism we never would have noticed on our own, helping us appreciate just how extraordinary this masterpiece truly is. The small group size made the experience feel personal, gave everyone an opportunity to ask questions, and allowed us to take our time soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the basilica. From the stunning stained-glass windows that fill the interior with colorful light to the incredible craftsmanship found in every detail, Sagrada Família exceeded every expectation we had. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Gaudí’s vision and the remarkable work that continues today. If you’re visiting Barcelona, we highly recommend booking a small group guided tour. It transformed a beautiful visit into an unforgettable experience, and if you’re lucky enough to have Albert as your guide, you’re in for a real treat.
This is an excellent tour of the Sagrada Familia. Albert was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and exceptionally passionate about the subject matter. Highly recommend, especially if taking an English-speaking tour. Ask for Albert!
Upon arrival at Sagrada Família, we were informed by the entrance staff that one of our tickets had been issued under the wrong age category – specifically, a “children” ticket instead of a “youth” ticket. This appears to have been an unintentional typo when completing the booking. As a result, two members of our group were not admitted and had to leave the site without being able to complete the tour, despite having travelled there and waited for entry. After checking the official Sagrada Família website, I noted that children under 11 are admitted free of charge, provided their age and ticket category are correctly registered and proven at the entrance. This makes the situation even more frustrating: not only were we charged a total of EUR 308 through Viator for the booking, but due to a simple age‑category mistake on one ticket, two of us were effectively excluded from the tour and did not receive the service we paid for. The staff at Sagrada Família made it clear that they cannot modify or reissue tickets purchased through intermediaries and advised us to contact Viator directly for any correction or compensation, since the contract and payment were handled by Viator. In other words, we were unable to resolve the issue on site and were left without a practical solution. The site itself is truly spectacular and absolutely worth visiting. Make sure you do not miss it, but be very careful when you book your tickets and with whom you book them, because even small mistakes in the ticket details are not allowed and can result in denial of entry.
Well organized and delightful guide
The tour guide was very informative and friendly. We learned so much!! The process of meeting the guide and getting into the cathedral was very seamless. I feel the tour was the perfect amount of time.
Not organized The tour woman was not polite to all group Most of the people speak spanish but a coulme of people only spoke English. Need to say that sometimes the tour person explain parts in english Sorry. But not recommended to anybody
Adriano really knew his stuff. He gave a lot of great context on what the symbols meant and what Gaudi was trying to do. Very convenient to skip the line as well. This is one of the great pieces of architecture in the world.
We arrived at the meeting point one minute before (6:29pm) the scheduled time and couldn’t find the guide. We contacted the company while on our way and let them know we would be five minutes late, but they refused to wait for us. WE ACTUALLY ARRIVED ON TIME. I asked if they could at least send us the tickets so we could still enter on our own, but they denied that request as well. They also refused to issue any refund. Be very careful when booking with this company. Even if you plan ahead, unexpected traffic can happen. Instead of showing any flexibility or trying to help their customers, they simply leave you behind, keep your money, and offer no reasonable solution. In my experience, this felt like a complete rip-off, and I would not recommend booking with them.
