Great family farm and mill. Amazing to learn the basics of olive oil manufacturing and the bonus of trying some wines made on site as well which were a very welcome surprise.

This is a fun art experience with comfortable conditions and great instruction. You’ll make the product of your choice in one class! Snacks provided were very good and plentiful.

This was such a great experience in Dorthe’s beautiful workshop! It was very easy to get the bus from Florence, and Dorthe was amazing and picked us up at the station. It was so fun and relaxing making rings from start to finish (melting/sawing/filing/hammering/polishing/eengraving!!) and chatting the afternoon away; Dorthe also made us a wonderful spread of snacks which were super tasty. I’d say this was the best, most thorough and enjoyable workshop I’ve done and it will definitely be one of the highlights of our trip!

Dorthe introduced my daughters and I to silversmithing. She was patient and gave us a range of options to work on. We covered the whole process from start to finish — and so we saw for ourselves the value of handmade jewellery. We are still wearing what we made and both of my girls loved the experience. If you’re looking for something different, and like arts and crafts, this could be ideal for you.

Absolutely phenomenal experience for me, my wife and two kids aged 11 and 13. Obviously we have zero blacksmithing experience but we produced 3 rings and a bracelet and all had a wonderful time. The kids said this was the most fun experience we had in Italy (beating out anything we did in the cities, and riding horses in Tuscany). I would recommend this experience to any traveler who values a hands on learning experience and who appreciates light work alongside each other. The price is very reasonable and the experience is so memorable. The experience takes 3-4 hours which is the perfect amount to not feel rushed but also keep everyone engaged.

A lovely day learning how to make our own silver jewellery. Beautiful location and lunch break included. Dorthe is a wonderful host and teacher and the time just flies by. Plus we have wonderful handmade pieces to take away and treasure forever. Worth every penny.

Dorthe is AMAZING!! We had trouble finding a bus that would make the morning class over the weekend and Dorthe was so accommodating and let us move to a day during the week. The buses were also a bit confusing (it was our first time taking them in Florence), and we got lost a couple times, but she was so patient. The process of making our rings was incredible. She explained each step and always checked in to make sure we were happy with how our jewelry turned out. In our breaks, it was lovely just getting to chat and spend time together. At the end of the class, Dorthe felt like family and it was sad saying goodbye. I couldn’t recommend this class more!

My boyfriend and I attended this course to make a ring and it was a really beautiful experience! 💍 We started by casting silver and then, step by step, we created our ring .. it was exciting to see how starting from scratch you can make and customize your ring, bracelet or earrings. Döerthe guided us and was extremely kind and patient made us feel immediately at ease and made everything even more special. It was a fun, original and romantic activity. Highly recommended for those who want to try something different and take home a unique memory or for those who want to make their own wedding rings.

Dörthe creates a wonderful atmosphere in her studio, where she patiently and inspiringly shares her expertise. All five of us created very different pieces! It was a fantastic afternoon, resulting in a beautiful piece of jewelry that we're all proud of!

Dorothe was a wonderful teacher and host! She is a talented artist and seems to genuinely enjoy sharing her craft with clients. She was patient and relaxed throughout the whole process. The jewelry we made is our favorite souvenir from our trip! Highly recommend!!
