Efter frukost tar din privata guide dig på din hotelllobby. Luta dig tillbaka och koppla av i ett välskött, luftkonditionerat rökfritt privat fordon för en 3-timmars bilresa. Du kommer att lära av din kunniga Tulou reseguide om Chuxi Tulous historia (Hakka Earth Buildings), Hakka-folkets lokala liv, några grundläggande fakta om jordbyggnaderna du kommer att besöka och andra saker du borde veta för denna turné. Anländer till Chuxi Village, kommer du först till observation däck för att ha en panoramautsikt över Chuxi Tulou, som hade misstat för flygande tallrikar eller missilbas genom utländsk intelligens tidigare. Korsa Chuxi-floden, då går du till en lokal Hakka-familj för att ha en traditionell kinesisk lunch. Njut av den lokala Hakka-maten och deras speciella hemgjorda risvin!
Efter lunchen besöker du Jiqing-byggnaden, som har en historia på mer än 580 år. Försök med de trappan som bara är byggda med trä, inte en enda nagel används. Du kommer då att besöka "Hakka Folk Museum" inuti byggnaden för att lära dig mer om Hakka-folk, lokala tullar och Hakka Earth Buildings. Gå ut från museet, du fortsätter att utforska de andra byggnaderna med olika former som torget Shengqing Building, Shanqing-byggnaden, Gengqing Building och hexagon Gongqing Building. Du får chansen att besöka den lokala grundskolan i byn och ha en interaktion med eleverna. Efter turnén kommer du ha en bra vila på det bekväma fordonet under 3 timmars bilresa till Xiamen. A unesco heritage place. Worth viewing but to get there is quite a pain. If you go with a group tour, they will be trying to get you to buy things on route so a private tour is preferred. If you go on your own from Xiamen, it can be a very long journey.

Chuxi village is worth a visit. About 2.5 hours drive from Xiamen. Few tourists in December 2025. You get a great view from the hilltop and can visit a few tulou of different sizes. Unlike other villages the tourism signage is not as prevalent which makes the experience more immersive. You can also get a good meal in the village. The guide himself had fairly limited English skills, and very limited knowledge to share about the history and culture of the area, which was disappointing. That said, I would definitely recommend visiting tulou if you can.
