Vårt första stopp för dagen är på en vacker vingård som tillhör en av våra prestigefyllda italienska aristokratiska familjer. Här smakar vi tre viner parade med salumi (chark) – men först blir det en fascinerande guidad rundtur i de historiska källarna och olivkvarnen, som vi når genom underjordiska tunnlar som passerar under villan
Spänn dig nu och gör dig redo för lite terrängåkning genom gamla skogar och böljande kullar. Hoppa ombord på 4x4-fordonet och njut av det vackra landskapet, från cypresserna till de rustika gårdarna och kyrkorna, när vi tar oss till Rignana, en typisk toskansk restaurang och vingård med fantastisk utsikt. Gör dina smaklökar redo för lunch med utsökt mat och rött vin (och en blind olivoljaprovning). Du vill inte lämna!
Äventyret fortsätter när vi fortsätter vår körning genom den otroliga landsbygden på väg till vårt sista stopp för dagen. Här tar du en rundtur i den imponerande villan och får höra om några otroliga händelser som har hänt här under de senaste 600 åren och de kända familjerna som har bott här. Det kommer att finnas tid att koppla av och gå runt i de fantastiska markerna, njuta av den unika skönheten och vyerna, samtidigt som du lär dig mer om vin innan du sitter för den sista provningen av tre viner tillsammans med ost. Det perfekta slutet på en oförglömlig dag.

This was a terrific experience if you want to visit a beautiful winery, have a scenic drive throughout Tuscany followed by a delicious lunch. Our guide Sarah was outstanding--she was knowledgeable in every way!!!

We didn’t have a car, but wanted a day out of the city during our weeklong stay in Florence. This tour was perfect. We were about a dozen people, hosted by a very attentive and helpful guide, her name was Oz. We were driven to a gorgeous historic villa, where a wealthy family makes wine and opens their home and production facilities to small groups like ours. We enjoyed a wine tasting after visiting the grounds and cellar, then were driven through the gorgeous Tuscan hills to a country restaurant with views to die for. More delicious Chianti, followed by a family style meal served in one of the most beautiful locations ever. If I’m being super picky, I’d say the food there was not “wow”, but everything other aspect of this tour was so good that it didn’t really matter. It was simply a lovely day and very much recommended.
The best time ever. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Italy. Our tour guide Fabian was incredible and so knowledgeable about the city, wineries and history.

We took the Wine Safari and it was amazing!!! Our guide Sara was the most wonderful guide we have ever had. She knows a lot about wines and loved everything we learned from her. She is funny and very helpful. The tour gets you to wonderful wineries and we had lovely lunch in one of them. Fabio our chofer was wonderful too. This tour I recommend a lot. You see the Italian country side which is incredibly beautiful. Loved everything!!!!

Alex took us into the countryside to two amazing wineries. We had an incredible lunch at the first. Both places were welcoming and informative. The entire day was perfect and Alex made sure we had the best time. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Highly recommend booking with Walkabout.

We had a great time on this tour. We received a great education on winemaking and the production of olive oil. The wines and the food were excellent. Our guide, Fabio, was the best -- full of humor, but also insightful and knowledgeable. Easily the best wine tour I've ever done.

Hands down the best thing we did on our honeymoon to Florence! Fabi our guide was cheeky and fun, but super knowledgeable on all things wine and Florence. The 3 wineries we stopped at (2 for tasting, 1 for lunch ... and wine) were gorgeous, historic, and had the best wine I've ever had. I would do this entire day again if I could... it was perfect. We also did another winery tour through a different company on a different day and it did not even come close to as good of an experience we had with WalkAbout's Safari tour. Do yourself a favor, book through WalkAbout, they're professional, kind, and make the entire experience easy and enjoyable.
