We had a fantastic tour. Our guide, Aarti, was amazing and our driver? Ranjit, drove very well in the busy Mumbai streets. I recommend this tour fully.

Since I had little time in Mumbai, I took a full-day tour of the main sights and visited a slum. It was a very good decision to get to know the city properly. Mumbai I liked very much – it is a very interesting city with many contrasts. I would definitely recommend a visit to this city, and if you can have Aarti as a guide, you will have a great time as she explains everything in great detail.

Amazing tour with tour guide Aarti. She was knowledgeable and very insightful as she herself lived in a slum earlier in her life. Aarti took me to her home and showed me how an Indian family lives nowadays, which was eye opening. She explained about the arranged marriage traditions, about the culture and the religion. On our way to the 2 locations, she showed me and explained the highlights of the city. The tour in Dharavi was very interesting and Aarti took me not only to see the industrial area, but also the 'residencial' part of the Dharavi. The Bolliwood was also a good experience, first time of that kind for me. You get to see the film making technologies, voice overs and have an overview of the history of the bolliwood cinema over the last 100 years. All in all a very good tour and Aarti has made it special.

The trip was really interesting and relevant. We were going as a class with two teachers. We had the same guides three days in a row to different places. Both Bollywood, Slum trip and a mega cozy day in a village. There is transport included with space to stop on the road for photos and snacks and water. They were really the sweetest and provided wide smiles. One always felt safe in their company and they were very welcoming and snaggy. They also invited us to see where they lived, which gave us a huge insight into everyday life. I would definitely recommend this tour, which both provides a lot of information and a mega nice insight into the culture!

We engaged Magical Mumbai Tours for us to tour the Slums and tour Bollywood… it was an exceptional experience for both of us from start to finish… we were picked up from our Hotel by our Guide Imran and Driver Ram and driven over to the Slums where Pooja was waiting to take us through the Slums… she was absolutely wonderful, was very supportive and assistive and provided us with her own personal knowledge of the Slums which was great. We then travelled with Imran and Ram over to Bollywood where we were provided with an exceptional tour of the Bollywood Studio including a couple of stages where productions were underway. Overall we really enjoyed our day out and have no hesitation in recommending Magical Mumbai Tours, Imran, Ram and Pooja to anyone who would like a great tour of the Slums and Bollywood.
the tour was great and all as expected. Hotel pick up at 10am worked well. Anthony was a great guide through the Dharavi Slum. The slum itself is a quite industrious and organized area, still working and living conditions remain poor and in obvious contrast to other parts of Mumbai. In the afternoon we have visited a Bollywood studio close to the airport with a nice tour through different sets and including a Bollywood dance performance. Mukesh was a great driver through the traffic jams, that are typical in Mumbai. We were back at the hotel in Colaba around 6pm.
