Här på stortorget kommer vi att prata om döden och den magiska användningen av kroppsdelar i folkloren. Utforska om avrättningarna av ett 90-tal själar runt omkring när den danske kungen Kristian intog Stockholm. Vi utforskar också folkloristisk tro på de dödas blod för att använda för förbannelser, galgdelarna för att brygga god berättelse och hur man använder andra delar av de döda...
Vi går längs Prästgatan och utforskar den del som tidigare hette "Helvetet" där exkursionsmannen bodde.
Vid dörren till ett hus. Vi utforskar användningen av skydd med järn för att skydda mot vaesen. Mot alver som kommer med dimman (själar får inte vila), lär dig om den svenska Tomte. För att inte glömma det så viktiga skyddet av dörren och den nyfödda som innan dopet saknar skydd mot trollen och Djävulen. Vilka skyddsåtgärder du bör använda.
Vi utforskar folklore vaesen kopplat till vatten. Hör om bland annat Näcken, bäckahästen (den svenska versionen av Kelpie), Sjörå, (hav-rå) och skepps-rå (skiprå) och hur de försökte dränka människor och locka dem ner i djupet.
Här börjar vi utforska folktroen från andra svenska folklore Vaesen som den farliga Skogsrået / huldran, det odöda levande barnet Myrling och andra folklorevarelser från det förflutna som suger blod och sprider död.
Vi fortsätter att besöka utsidan av denna kyrka och pratar om kyrkdörren, kyrkans svaga punkter, exorcismen av ungen vid dopet och vad man ska göra om man hade en värsta fiende att straffa.

It seems that not much happened in Old Town Stockholm. Based on the name of this tour, we were expecting many interesting, gruesome, intriguing stories. Instead we were told that a body was found between the walls of the palace and they say her ghost still haunts the palace. Campfire stories are better than this. Our guide was nice, but there isn't much to say.
Hi, so sorry to hear that it was your impression and it is strange cause it is a lot that have happened that are bloody there: all from Stockholm bloodbath, to the killing of the king Gustav III, a lynch mob and the death of an noble to other bloody stories around the the executioner etc etc. Sorry to hear these stories didn't come to light as well as it should have been during your tour and sorry to hear the tour was a disappointment to you. Will talk to the guide who had you and make sure he is better prepared or something cause this isn't the feeling you should have after doing a tour with us.
Very popular Nordic country: we visited the ABBA museum, AVICII, the very typical Skansen park, the Royal Palace, the old town,… we loved it. 😍 We also rented a car to explore the surroundings of Stockholm and the small villages, really great!
