Utforska Yorkshire Dales National Park, men med särskilt fokus på landsbygden och platser som används för att filma den nya TV-serien All Creatures Great & Small med Nicholas Ralph i huvudrollen som Yorkshire Vet, James Herriot, som visades för första gången på Channel 5 2020 Du kommer att ha fotostopp i Barden, Malham, Arncliffe, Hawkswick och Burnsall och ett längre stopp i Grassington, som används som den huvudsakliga inspelningsplatsen för "Darrowby". Du kommer också att ha möjlighet att besöka den prisbelönta World of James Herriot Visitor Attraction i Thirsk för att se var Alf White (den riktige James Herriot) bodde, arbetade och skrev sin serie böcker, baserade på hans erfarenheter som ung Yorkshire Veterinär . Om du vill besöka James Herriots värld tar vi dig dit först på morgonen eftersom det sätter scenen för resten av turnén. Om inte, kan du spendera den extra tiden på att njuta mer av Yorkshire Dales - valet är ditt och du kan bara komma överens med din förare på morgonen!

What a delightful experience! Our guide, Chris, was superb! He is a native of the Dales and actually grew up next door to the actual vet’s home in Thirsk. He knew Alf Wight (James Herriot) personally. We saw the beauty of the Dales, filming location for the “All Creatures…” series and got additional local history along the way. Chris was so patient with our questions and a font of local wisdom. We highly recommend it!👍

Had a wonderful time even with the not so nice weather. We didn't do the movie set part as we were not interested in fiction - only the real Harriott history! What could have made it better? To meet his children - now adults, so we could tell them what their Dad did for us!
We had an absolutely wonderful day! Chris was a charming, informative and gracious host. He paid attention to our interests and made this a very, very special day. Even if you’re not a fan of the show, the countryside was breathtaking. Cannot recommend this highly enough!
