Sedan reser vi till den magnifika utsiktspunkten Cabo Girão, 580m hög och med en glasbalkong, känd för att vara den högsta i Europa och den näst högsta klippan i världen.
När vi reser längs öns kust kommer vi snabbt fram till byn Ribeira Brava, där vi kan besöka en kyrka med anor från 1400-talet.
Sedan beger vi oss till utsiktspunkten Encumeada, 1007 meter hög, för att njuta av vackra landskap med utsikt över öns norra och sydkust och även dalarna Ribeira Brava och São Vicente.
Stanna för lunch och extra tid i kuststaden Porto Moniz - hem till Madeiras största naturliga vulkaniska pooler. På vår nedstigning mot staden kan vi njuta av fantastiska vyer, särskilt de vulkaniska poolerna i sin helhet. Vid bra väder går det att ta ett dopp, så kom förberedd.
Sedan gör vi ett kort stopp med utsikt över den svarta sandstranden och naturliga pooler i byn Seixal.Längs vägen har vi nöjet att passera flera vattenfall, nämligen det berömda och fantastiska vattenfallet Véu da Noiva. När du tittar ner på vattnet som rinner nerför berget kan du se hur klippan har skulpterats av vind och regn under miljontals år för att bilda vad som bara kan beskrivas som den perfekta konstformen.
Därefter besöker vi den pittoreska grannbyn São Vicente, där du kan besöka en vacker 1600-talskyrka innan du går tillbaka till Funchal.
Beläget 5 km från staden Funchal, är vårt första stopp den pittoreska och berömda fiskebyn Câmara de Lobos; en favoritmålarplats för Winston Churchill!

Despite the cloudy weather in Porto Moniz, we had a lovely experience with our tour guide Paolo. He was very informative and his driving skills were top notch! Would highly recommend, thank you !!
Extremely good, No hard selling or tipping request. Explained well. No stopping at shop or time wasting
It started out to be what could’ve been a 5 star but ornatos attitude took a little attitude the second half . I understand we had to wait for people that didn’t make it back in time and that is very try annoying for all of us . It happened at 3 stops and 2 or the 3 was the same person so this is not his fault . We also saw and accident which caused a few mins delay and people driving rental cars also caused issues but he became frustrated. Other than you need more time at the pools if you want to go in and eat . We had to choose so that was a little disappointing. Overall it was a good tour .

Absolutely fantastic . 23 gr in the water in November. Possibility of shower in the beginning of the facility near the restaurant. All for free. Cool with all the waves outside and quite calm between the lava rocks.
We hired a car and drove to this western point of Maderia. Very windy roads but easy to drive on. Parking is not free but plenty of it. Lots of cafe/eating places. A bit commercialised. The natural rock swimming pools were amazing but it was a red flag day for wind so not for me. However people did go in. Would recommend water shoes. Believe there are.lockers but most people just left bags by the rocks. Free to access and take photos.
Excellent tour. Guide very knowledgeable. Porto Moniz highly recommend swimming. Lots of stops at interesting places. Great day out.
they say its Natural Swimming Pools but its been all modernised for tourists .Which i can understand. However the other side of Bay are Natural Pools and they are so much better
Amazing tour and amazing host saw so much and the places were amazing. Plenty of time to explore each place and all very friendly
