I imagined a fast-food show for tourists but no, the musicians delivered everything, nor do they seem to be there day after day playing for tourists. It's impressive and exciting. The service is great, we were very well received by the cordial hostess. After the show I went to read a little more about and found out that the musicians are the founders of the place, everyone is there with heart.
I got lost and walked all the way down the river to the Rebello Hotel because my Google maps said that was the Cais da Gaia. The concert is in the green building on the riverfront closer to the bridge. The people at the door are extremely nice. The music was fantastic.
Quaint small setting. One hour was just the right amount of time to get an idea of what Fado music was.
Beautiful singing, delicious wine, and very accommodating - they opened with a love song in honor of our honeymoon!
Enjoyed the music and the experience! It was a nice add to our Porto trip! Great location too to see more before or after.
The show was great. You get a glass of port and my son got a juice. The musicians were very talented and able to communicate in multiple languages, which was cool. The performance was about an hour, which is perfect if you are bringing kids along. We did the 5pm show and the timing and length was perfect. Would definitely recommend!
50 minutes of exceptional quality. It is a shame that we could not ask questions at the end. Very good Porto.
Very authentic Fado show. The singer was wonderful and the musicians were great. Good location and a complimentary glass of port served as well. A great way to immerse yourself in the culture and history of Porto.
Excellent Fado concert, the singer and two guitarists were so talented and it was a lovely bonus to have a glass of port to enjoy it. It was an intimate setting and the right length of time for us (1hr)
