Koppla av på en naturskön flodkryssning i Pinhão och res bekvämt med hotellets upphämtning i Porto, tillsammans med en kunnig lokal Guide hela dagen. Börja turen på ditt hotell eller boende i Porto Downtown. Obs! Din adress måste anges vid bokning eller några dagar innan turen äger rum, annars kommer en mötesplats att fastställas. - PICK-UP ÄR EXKLUSIVT FÖR PORTO CENTRUM OMRÅDE. Vi erbjuder INTE upphämtning från Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos, Porto kustområdet, eller andra platser utanför centrum.
När det är möjligt stannar vi vid staden Peso da Régua, en historisk stad i Dourodalen som förknippas med handel med vin. Här ger vi våra gäster en kort förklaring om staden och ger lite fritid för en fika och bilder.
Quinta do Tedo är en av flera vingårdar som vi kan besöka på vår tur. I detta besök får du lära dig om vintillverkningsprocessen i Quinta do Tedo med en lokal Guide. Det ingår en guidad vinprovningssession där du får förklara om de olika vinerna som ska provas. OBS! I hjärtat av Dourodalen kommer du att ha chansen att besöka Pinhão. Tidigare var Pinhão en viktig plats för handel och transport av vinet från Douro till Porto. Vinet kommersialiserades först och skeppades sedan i den traditionella Rabelobåten för att fortsätta lagras i Vila Nova de Gaia, precis över floden i Porto. I byn Pinhão stannar vi för en 1h flodkryssning samt vi äter lunch på en traditionell lokal restaurang. OBS! Besök på vingårdar och flodkryssningar är inte helt privata och öppna för externa deltagare.
Quinta do Beijo är den andra vingården av flera vingårdar som vi kan besöka på vår tur. Detta är en liten lokal vingård med mycket bra viner som inte kan köpas i staden. Besöket görs oftast av Ägaren själv medan han berättar mer om produktionen och smakerna på dess viner. OBS! Vingårdar eller ordningen på de vingårdar som besöks kan variera beroende på deras tillgänglighet OBS 2: Besök på vingårdarna och flodkryssningarna är inte helt privata och öppna för externa deltagare.
Vi återvänder till Porto från Douro Valley nära 18:00, där vår Guide kommer att lämna dig på din valda avlämningsplats.
Större delen av turen har floden Douro som den natursköna scenen genom dagen. Vingårdarna som besöks bjuder på otrolig utsikt över floden.

Our guide Luis, was the most thoughtful and knowledgeable person! We loved every minute of our tour, and we’re so thankful we had someone who knew the area as well as he did. any question we had he answered, and made sure anything we needed was provided. Me and my family highly recommend this tour, and if you can,try to get Luis as your tour guide!
Where do I begin!!! This is truly a remarkable experience that must be done if visiting Porto. Our guide Nuno was extremely knowledgeable even about items about Porto not related to the tour. He truly takes you to the best spots and throughout the entire journey. This memory will last a lifetime all thanks to Nuno and the sites he works with to provide this experience.
Ricardo was an amazing host! He shared history of the area as well as recommendations for after our tour. The first winery has beautiful vineyards up in the mountains. One thing I wish they would have offered was to try some of their premium wines even if that meant an up charge. Lunch was delicious in the old school house. The port winery was exceptional. Oh, and I must mention the bakery and vista stops were outstanding!
Pedro is an excellent tour guide and highly recommend trying to get him as your guide. Tour went well, visiting two smaller family run wineries, one focusing on production (and also a wine tasting), while the other was just a pure tasting of wines, olive oils, and honey. It was a very good mixture of styles and information. Go with the small group tour if possible-it seemed more personalized as opposed to being in a larger group. The boat tour was nice, but is a combination of a the small group and much larger groups. Highly recommend this tour, even if you don’t care for Port or even wine. The scenery is amazing!
Had a great trip with a wonderful guide, Pedro. He was very informative, and great driver, and a really good sense of humor. To a certain extent he let the group set the pace. We visited two, smaller, family run wineries, with one showing more of the process of making wine and the other was purely a tasting and explanation of the wines, olive oils and honey. Would highly recommend trying to book a small group tour, just felt that the trip was a bit more personal than if we would have gone with a larger group. Please note though that the boat ride is a mix of the small group and larger tour groups at together.
Extraordinary experience with Pedro. He was fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable. He definitely an amazing tour even better! Douro Valley is a must visit - absolutely stunning with some great wines and beautiful vistas. Can’t wait to return!
Early start. Hour and a half drive to the Douro Valley in an 8 seater air conditioned Mercedes. Some really lovely scenery. A marked increase in temperature as we headed inland away from the coast. We stopped for a short breakfast break in a lovely small town en route. A wine tasting and tour was followed by a very good lunch (with more wine). Thereafter a relaxing boat trip on the Douro and to round things off nicely another tour and tasting - this time Port. We really enjoyed the company of the other 3 couples and were extremely happy with our driver / guide Ricardo who spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about everything related to wine growing in the area. He really brought the tour to light and made this a special experience for us.
Recommend this Douro Valley tour. Excellent, well-run tour. The small wineries were outstanding, and the route through the Douro Valley offered beautiful scenery throughout. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a more intimate and authentic wine country experience..

The day started at 8am when we were collected by our guide Jorge. Our first winery was for table wine which was very informative and entertaining, We had a few bottles accompanied by breads and olive oils, quickly followed by a delicious lunch of cod salad and pork and more wine. Second winery was for port wine but unfortunately the port samples would’ve gone down much better had there been some cheese or meats to go with them, so I’m docking a star for that. The river cruise was tranquil and gave us an opportunity to enjoy the amazing scenery. Jorge then brought us safely back to Porto so all in all a great day out, we learned a lot about the region and the processes and met some nice people along the way.
