Med mer än 100 år av existens ligger Poças i händerna på 4:e generationen, och är ett av de mycket få portvinsföretagen som föddes portugisiskt och fortfarande tillhör samma portugisiska familj. The Old Tawny Ports har byggt upp Poças rykte men DOC Douro-viner har bevisat sin egen kvalitet under de senaste 30 åren. Nyligen fick Poças priset "Årets producent av fortifierat vin 2018" av den portugisiska tidningen "Revista de Vinhos". Vårt besökscenter välkomnar dessutom cirka 28 000 besökare per år och har även utmärkts med Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence. Vi har många olika anledningar till att bjuda in dig att vara en del av en sann familjär atmosfär, att känna den oförglömliga doften av de ädlaste vinerna och att på nära håll se en riktig daglig källarrutin.

Erfarenheten börjar med ett guidat besök till åldrande källaren där de fantastiska vinerna har åldrats i mer än 100 år. Du kommer att få veta vad som gör Port Wine så speciellt och lära dig också om den plats där den är gjord: Dourodalen. Sedan går du in i provsmakningsrummet där en harmoniserad provning av tre olika portviner väntar. Du kommer att ta reda på vad som är bra med Port Wine och upptäck Port-stilar som du kanske inte har smakat tidigare. Du har också möjlighet att prova på andra viner (ingår ej) och köpa alla tillgängliga referenser i vår butik.

Great tour of a really nice family run Port business. Historical location, great venue. tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and the port tasting was in a great location with generous samples.
Very good visit. Top-notch guide. Enjoy your tasting. Good value for money. I recommend it even with children. Be sure to book the tour to have a guide who speaks your language.
Standard company wine tour of their cellars. General overview and walkthrough. Seated for tasting at the end where you can purchase anything additional. Felt a little like it should have been free, but not a bad way to spend an hour. If you’re looking to have a cellar experience it checks the box.
Very friendly cellar. You get a very personal experience. I recommend visiting a cellar with Portuguese vs British origins. Loved our time here and the port wines were phenomenal. Bought 3 bottles to take home with us

It was impressive and very well organized. The port was amazing and so was thé charcuterie board we ordered. Even though we arrived late , the guide gave us a quick tour of the facility before we left . Highly recommend .
