Den enda mat- och fotoexpertledda PINTXO-TUREN i Bilbao. Följ med mig för en promenad, fotografering, ät- och drickupplevelse du aldrig kommer att glömma! Vi besöker 5 olika barer för ett glas och en pintxo (sofistikerad baskisk tapa) på var och en. Det är en komplett måltid & precis vad lokalbefolkningen gillar att göra. Du kommer att vara en lokal med mig! Längs rutten kommer jag att visa dig platserna och berätta om historien och kulturen i Baskien, vi kommer att besöka RIBERA MARKNAD men mitt fokus ligger definitivt på MAT & DRYCK. Min rutt och menyn ändras dagligen, men vi kommer att blanda från det traditionella till det moderna. Räkna med att äta ansjovis, bläckfisk, bacalao i pil-pil-sås, bläckfisk, foie gras, lokal ost... och avslutar såklart med en traditionell efterrätt. Törstig? Jag är bra på att para ihop den perfekta hällen med den perfekta tallriken, från lokala cider till vitt vin (txakoli), ung & lagrad Tempranillo från La Rioja, öl och därutöver kanske vi också doppar i lite vermouth? Eller vill du prova vår lokala drink Kalimotxo?

After our other food tour was canceled due to low attendance, my wife and I found Oihana, and I’m so glad the first tour fell through because this turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in Bilbao. Oihana was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel like we were exploring the city with a good friend. We visited several spots to try different pintxos, and Oihana made sure the experience felt personalized just for us. She even encouraged us to try the “original” pintxo with an olive, anchovy, and guindilla pepper. Normally, I don’t like olives or anchovies, but this one completely won me over, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since we left. By the end of the tour, we were happily stuffed with food and drinks, and Oihana even sent us off with some sweets. Along the way, we also learned so much about Bilbao’s rich history. It felt like you were walking around the city with a friend. I cannot recommend Oihana enough. If you’re in Bilbao and looking for a food and drink tour, this is an absolute must! You won’t be disappointed!

I would highly recommend this tour. It was a good balance between being informative, providing history of Bilbao and enjoying some wonderful food. Oihana was an excellent guide and we felt like we were travelling with a friend which made for great conversation.

We loved our food tour with Oihana! She was a very fun and knowledgeable guide, and took us to fun spots with delicious pintxos. Bilbao was very crowded with a big match that night, and she navigated the crowds and bars like a pro. We were grateful that she and the bars accommodated two in our group who needed to be gluten free due to celiac disease. They loved their pintxos, which were just as creative and delicious as ours. We knew the bars could not guarantee no cross-contamination without dedicated kitchens- that is common, and neither of them got sick. Thanks again Oihana- we definitely reach out if we visit Bilbao again!

My tour had 5 people in it, which meant Oihani the tour guide gave her full attention to us. The pinxto we had along with the wine was perfect. Her knowledge of Bilbao and the Basque region was spot on.

The main reason for my trip to Bilbao was the rich cuisine of the Basque Country. Oihana’s tour exceeded my lofty expectations. Oihana is very personable, and makes the tour feel like you are visiting a local friend. Her level of hospitality during the tour gives it a layer of authenticity that is hard to find in other tours. Our food safari with Oihana was an outstanding kick off to our Basque Country experience. We like private tours so that we can really connect with our guide and always want to tour with a local.
