Obs: Om rutten är avstängd på grund av jordskred, andra naturliga faktorer eller säkerhetsskäl kan leden delvis eller helt komma att ledas om till en alternativ stig. Denna vandring förbinder två av de högsta topparna på Madeira. Detta är en fantastisk rutt, som inkluderar tunnlar och vissa avsnitt med branta upp- och nedförsbackar, och erbjuder fantastiska vyer över öns centrala massiv. Det är också möjligt att observera olika fåglar, av vilka några är unika för Makaronesien, såsom saffransfink (Serinus canaria), pampaspiplärka (Anthus berthelottii madeirensis) och vitvingad seglare (Apus unicolor). Nära Pico Ruivo-skyddsrummet hittar du leden PR 1.2, som leder till Achada do Teixeira. Vid Achada do Teixeira är det möjligt att se den basaltformade klippformationen som kallas "Stående man", som ligger på nedfarten efter att man passerat Achada do Teixeira-skyddet.

Pico do Arieiro Pike, 1818 meter hög, är det tredje högsta toppmötet på ön Madeira. Det rekommenderas starkt att klättra hela vägen upp till toppen av detta berg för att njuta av den stora skönheten i vulkanen och dess underbara utsikt.
Detta är lika bra som det blir! Denna promenad ger dig en mer komplett bild av den här skönans verkliga skönhet. Klippformationer verkar vilja nå himlen som jätte skulpturer. Under hela turnén är utsikten helt enkelt fantastisk.

A nice hike done with guide Sergio who explained everything step by step. My fitness wasn't great but with each climb we took a rest so everyone could come along, even me. Have a nice day.

The tour was really beautiful; we had the best weather, so we had a wonderful view. We were picked up directly at the hotel, which was very convenient. Sergio, our guide, always walked at the back so that no one could get lost and everyone could walk at their own pace.

The guide an tour were brilliant can't fault them at all was a good day out the summits are well worth the visit the only downside was a large section of pr1 is closed but that's not the tour operators fault

Already, namely the trail that joins the 2 summits is closed, the hike can not be done ... you just do the Pico Ruivo (same way out / back) then by van we leave on Pico Ariero, moreover we did the excursion in the rain and clouds so we saw nothing at all in terms of landscapes! This excursion should have been cancelled in my opinion because apart from if you are passionate about intense hiking , there was no point in walking in the cold and rain on arduous paths! I would not recommend it at all! Luckily thanks to Viator for allowing us compensation for this horrible day...
